Bird Homestead Golf Course

Friendliest staff/management, greens well maintained, dog-friendly, full sets of Srixon clubs available for rent! We came out here from LA to visit family and decided to get a few rounds in. I must say we were glad we did. 10/10 hidden gem.

Did not honor tee time reservation. Unfriendly and unprofessional staff. Looked lower class from parking lot. Birch ridge and Kenai golf course are much better options.

Great layout, amazing greens. Excellent place to relax as you play.

This morning I called for rates & asked what today’s hours were. Amy gave me the information I requested without mentioning they were having a tournament today. I even called back a second time to ask if there was a different rate for children, second opportunity missed to inform me of a tournament. My son & I drove 23 miles (1 way) for his first golfing experience to be met by the same Amy who said “Yeah, sorry it’s tournament day”. No hint of sincerity in her voice whatsoever even after reminding her that we had just spoken & that I just drove a considerable distance. No “come back tomorrow…

Best place on the peninsula! No one pushing you. Everyone friendly and polite. Very family oriented from the owners, staff and players. Absolutely love it ❣️

Definitely northern golf! We still had a pile of fun though.

Gotten to golf here a handful of times and the ownership is awesome here. Friendly guys that are all about golf and the community.
