WOW. This is a great and challenging 18 hole course to play in Bishop. Great condition. Fairways are fairly open, rough is tought but not to deep, greens are very challenging!!!! Shot placement is crucial or your score can add up fast!!! The Bishop crew is all around friendly and helpful. Replays on the same day are a dea.! Played 2 x’s on Thursday and it wasn’t busy. This course is a diamond in the High Sierra. Good course, good folks and good food! DEFINITELY stop and play here if you have the chance. PS. Remember the altitude impacts your shot distances so adjust accordingly.

Bishop Golf and Country Club offers a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere with well-maintained greens and fairways. The layout is enjoyable, featuring a mix of challenging and forgiving holes that suit various skill levels. The scenic mountain backdrop enhances the experience, making it a picturesque course to play. While the facilities are modest, the friendly staff ensures a welcoming environment. Overall, it's a solid choice for a laid-back round of golf.

I come here frequently. I love the cocktail price, $5, the food and the view! I don’t play golf. Outside on the patio with the misters on is very nice. I have tried most everything on the menu, including breakfast. They make a killer Bloody Mary! Great friendly service as well. Plenty of parking.

Very nice, clean campground. The staff is very friendly. We didn't know before hand that there is only 30 amp electric so I couldn't use my electric range. The overnight charge is very reasonable even though there is a charge for dumping your tank. We will definitely return again. 👍

I’m giving this course 3 stars not because of the golf course itself. The course is actually very nice — beautiful mountain views, smooth greens, and generally a fun layout. I’ve played here twice. The first time (not during peak season) everything was great. However, during my second visit, I had an extremely uncomfortable experience with a player assistant named Gary that made us leave after just four holes. My husband and I are beginners (about one year of playing with a coach) and have played 8–10 courses around Los Angeles. We know proper etiquette and do our best to keep pace. On Hole…

Nice course, beautiful views and very nice staff. Sadly, the smokers discard their cigarette butts on the course and subject the people and wildlife to their filthy habits. So disrespectful!

Good food. Basic. We sat outside with a large party. Didn't know there wasn't any table service outside but the manager kindly took our orders. Small menu and good prices with a view of the course

The greens are fantastic at this course they're very fast for what I'm used to so definitely get some practice in before you go and it really helps. Watch out for the sneaky water hazards that are 1 ft wide streams running across often invisible watch your TV screen on your cart to make sure there's not water lurking. All the staff at this course are fantastic Love the restaurant and they have great food at really good prices. Tip get a soda before you're around and get a free refill at the turn. The senior price is really reasonable $70 for a round. I also like that the driving range is on re…
