Some guests also mention dissatisfaction with the service, particularly regarding pace of play enforcement and the handling of reservations and amenities.

Im confused, Not sure why there rating is so low! it was a really great course. Challenging and well kept. Nice people. The cart had a patched seat but I don't fell like that's as big a deal like the reviews make it. At the end of the day it was great golfing with awesome views at an amazing price.

The course was better and more challenging than expected. The drink cart girl was on the ball. The course marshal chewed us for our pace of play. We had an group of four but we were constantly waiting on a group of two today. He didn't say a word to them. Probably won't go back anytime soon.

The course was not as bad as others have mentioned in their reviews. That being said, it was not my best experience at a course. I was trying to use the youth on course for my son that they do honor but only after 12. When I made my reservation for a t time before 12 I was told that they would honor it and then I showed up and had to pay full price. Thats my only gripe along with the older gal up front who is just a breath of fresh air.

Lots of weeds, lots of ground under repair, lots of dead spots in the middle of fairways, greens were absolutely atrocious. Cart started dying on the 12th but luckily limped through the rest of my round. Course has potential but needs a lot of work. Also I feel like you should get an honest warning about the course conditions before being charged full price for a round. Employees were friendly and helpful. That is the ONLY reason I give it 2 stars, otherwise it would be 1 or less if possible.

This is a very beautiful course. I would highly recommend playing The Empire Ranch Golf Course. I was simply a mom tagging along behind my daughter, during a Girls' Golf tournament. I should start by saying that the leadership of this course allowed the hosting team to use their course for their "home" tournament, when their home course was not available for the tournament. That was special and awesome enough, but past that, they went above and beyond to be helpful, hospitable, and accomodating to all the players, coaches, and parents that attended. For me, personally, the gentlemen that helpe…

We held our wedding event here. I was hesitant when I saw the indoor area BUT the outside space & bridal room were perfect. The venue manager Kristy was incredible accommodating and kept her promise that everything will be exceptional. Fantastic food, great service for an affordable price. Thank you so much for helping us to create our dream wedding!

Had a great time at the American Celebrity Golf Tournament at South Lake Tahoe with some real favorites playing. Charles Barkley (my personal fav), Ray Ramono, Annika Sorenstam, Larry the Cable Guy, Jack Wagner, Tony Romo, The Miz, Justin Timberlake, and many more. Highly recommend for those who enjoy golf. Beautiful course.

So first and foremost I will say don’t give this course your money. The course itself is in horrendous condition. The fairway is tore up with no margins between rough, ground under repair, and any discernible fairway. The majority of the course is overrun with weeds. If you attempt to tee off before 10am you are met with soppy conditions with greens being completely drenched. Sprinklers will be running as you attempt to navigate the course. The amenities, let’s just say are non existent. There is no cart girl. The driving range grass is nothing but tore up and you’ll be hitting out of divots a…

Fun course, offering a quite diverse course. Challenging, but fun. We realize the course if getting the grass back to a healthy sort.

Not good. Arrived 30 minutes early, payed and was told I was next on the tee. I didn't even have my clubs out of the car. Then I was made to share a cart with an 83 year old man that played the front tees, while I played the tips. We told the rude lady in the pro shop that we didn't want to share a cart. We both payed full price for carts. But we had to share anyway.

I love this course, they are doing a great job revamping it after the flood. Twilight rates for 18 joles with a cart are only 20 bucks per person. Highly recommend

Fairways are not clearly defined. It was sometimes difficult to locate the next hole. There are many areas in the center of fairways that were either mowed weeds or mud. This golf course is very swampy. Most of the greens were consistent and in good shape.
