In summary

Eagle Valley Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained courses, affordable rates, and friendly staff, with both the East and West courses offering distinct challenges and scenic views. Many visitors enjoy the lush fairways, good condition of the greens, and the overall value for money. However, some golfers note issues such as limited water refill stations, inconsistent sand trap conditions, and occasional pest problems. Additionally, a few have experienced concerns with course marshals and pace of play.

We played the Eagle Valley West course and we really enjoyed our day at this nice and very affordable course. I can’t give it top marks because it missed on a few levels for me. First off is that this is a course in the desert so hot days and there was nowhere on the course to refill my water bottle except the one bathroom sink. I live in Sun Lakes AZ and that sure would not fly on our desert courses. Also there are no ball washers anywhere. A couple other misses are that they have quite a few sprinklers that need work so there were quite a few places that were over watered and many puddles.…

East course is fun and forgiving. Greens are great all year. Some rough spots, but still a great value

Great local golf course, two courses East and West course. East is a straight forward golf course, easier holes and less technical. The West course has more terrain features and is very fun to play. Great 360 degree views when playing either course! They have a great pro shop that offers great deals on any golf equipment you might need along with a bar with food options. The cost of the rounds are reasonably priced and a great way to get out and enjoy some golf!

I have e played both east and west courses the west is my favorite. Great course and for the price you can't beat it. They both are in good shape

To be fair, they are working to upgrade the overall experience. Obvious signs of work being done to the course, improving the pro shop, and expanding the dining/bar area. The bugs are still a big problem. Mosquitoes, biting flies, and other flying nuisances. It's worse than any other course I have played in Carson City or the surrounding area. Greens are rough and bumpy. Some sand traps are packed dirt. Other traps have new sand in them. Coyotes are common and are unafraid of golfers. Magpies stole granola bars out of our cart while we were putting. I understand that there is little that can b…

The coarse is playing well at least the East side. For at the bar and customer service was great. Food reasonable and tasted good. As for the cart girl she literally drove all around us and couldn't get a drink when waving or whistle a few times.

Enjoyed a great Saturday morning 18 holes at Eagle Valley, got to see coyotes come have snacks with us. Very cool to see them just approach our cart. It was a fun experience as this was our first time playing this course.

Campground fire at other side if Washoe Lake has this State of Nevada Campground booked up as of 10/10/25. That's the only thing to know. Now that weather has changed, I'd bet it's better now.

I'm from Austin, Texas, and I play here every time I visit my in-laws. Both courses are always in great shape and have their own challenges. Great staff and practice facilities as well.
