In summary

Sunridge Golf Club is frequently praised for its challenging and scenic course layout, offering breathtaking views and a variety of holes that keep golfers engaged. The staff, particularly individuals like Amanda and Morgan, receive high marks for their friendliness and exceptional service, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While many appreciate the course's unique topography and well-maintained greens, some visitors note issues with maintenance in certain areas and find the course design to be overly complex or gimmicky. Additionally, there have been isolated incidents of miscommunication regarding course availability.

Sunridge Golf Course hosted the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard Golf Tournament in September 2025. Organizers and players who attended could not have been more impressed with how everything went. The grounds were in great shape and the tent worked out perfectly. There were approximately 140 players and there were no issues with carts and/or. parking. Specifically, I wanted to acknowledge Morgan, Amanda and Beau with Sunridge Golf Course. The major reason the tournament ran as smoothly as it did was because of those three.

My husband & I were so lucky to be married at Sunridge! Everything came together so beautifully - it was everything we could have imagined & more! Amanda and her team are the BEST folks to work with. They are all so kind & welcoming, and they help make all of your ideas come to life. The planning process was a breeze - Amanda did everything in her power to help make us feel less stressed and more excited about our big day. She never got annoyed or overwhelmed (even when I would text her sometimes multiple times in a day, in the early mornings and late at night). They also bartended our wedding…

Very conflicted with my review here... I really enjoyed the course and the layout (elevation change, amazing views). Seems like the maintenance is suffering a little bit here, bunkers over grown, tee boxes uneven and patchy. But, besides that... a very enjoyable layout and course. Would definitely come back.

Nice golf course although the back nine was a little tougher than my golf skills can handle. I only played The back nine, it was very hilly with long downhill tee shots. The front nine appeared to be pretty much flat. Lots of water hazards on both. Very nice friendly helpful staff.

I LIKED playing this crs BUT some would say have ur A game & ur B balls 🤣🤣🤣 It is definitely TARGET GOLF, narrow fairways, water in play in on 50% of holes, desert scrub outside of the fairways (likely rattlesnakes in there), BIG elevation changes (nice views) on back 9. Some areas the drainage is not adequate to keep up with the level of required watering & a few patchy fairway areas, the greens were in pretty decent condition.

Lots of water but a great course. Didn't have high hopes but ended up being impressed. Pro shop was great and very friendly. Definitely recommend giving this course a try

If you like gimmicky golf courses then this is for you. Everything is fine up to the 13 hole, at 14 it gets weird. Up about 300 feet and two city blocks, then hit down to a par four. One great thing was the very nice club house staff. Loved them, course, not so much. Glad to say I played this course once, I'll pass in the future.

At its highest point , approximately 8000 feet, Sunridge is an exceptional scenic Sierra Nevada mountain desert golf course. The experience is guaranteed to be challenging for golfers of all playing ability. I cannot wait to get another chance to have another go at this track. Absolutely gorgeous and if you're playing here for the first time no matter the skill level, I recommend a few things. Patience - let this course come to you. The design begs you to over power. Take the bait and feel the bite. Designed to take advantage of the geography, it has many reasonable to short in length par 3s,…
