In summary

Carson Valley Golf Course is praised for its beautiful setting with views of the Sierra Nevada mountains and well-maintained greens. The staff is often highlighted for their friendliness and accommodating nature, enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors have experienced slow pace of play and issues with course management, particularly during club events. Additionally, a few guests have noted challenges with wet conditions on certain greens. Despite these concerns, many appreciate the course's layout and community atmosphere.

Will not be playing this golf course again. The Marshall was nice, but was being pushed around by the “president” of the men’s club. It took us between 5-6 hours to play a round and was constantly being held up by the president and his group. On every hole, my group and the two groups behind us were waiting on the same tee box for them to finish. When asked if we could play through, we were told the “President” would not allow it and would complain if we tried. When we tried talking to the Marshall about it, he told us they are now playing slower on purpose because he had told them to move fas…

Beautiful, amazing golf course of all Northwestern Nevada, colorful greens, but I will say the groundskeeper might've had a bring kid to work day, kinda thing were it got him distracted, living the sprinklers on that got me wet on hole 7, other than that the whole experience was awesome I have been dying to play this course since I was 8. I loved every minute of it I'll play here again. Photo/hole 4

Carson Valley FootGolf is amazing! It's 18 holes right on the golf course. It's $18 a person walking. I wouldn't reccomend a cart it is more fun to walk the course. Tee times start after 2pm and you can have 1-4 players. We went at 2pm and had the course to ourselves. The course is in really good shape too. ⛳⚽️

Was in the Oktoberfest Scramble and had so much fun. It was a beautiful day on the course and even though we didn't win anything we sure enjoyed ourselves. Thank you CVGC for a great day.

Just went to hit some balls on the range(which was great) but ended up playing nine holes yesterday afternoon. Course was in great condition and was pretty challenging. (I haven't played in a few years, and usually shot in the low 90s to around 100). So it was a great way to get back in the game. Will definitely be back, because it's only a five minute drive from my house 🙂

We were visiting the area without our golf clubs and the Carson Valley Golf Course was able to get us on the course with some good quality rented clubs for a very reasonable cost. The course was in good shape and the staff was very accommodating to help us make the most of the outing. Thanks!

Great community golf course. Embraces casual golfing with all the luxury of a beautiful course and good pace play. There was no marshal since it’s a community course but everyone with a slower pace allows you to play though. Some skinny fairways, beautiful scenery, a homey pro-shop, great staff. Only cons, an iron-only driving range and no coolers (not a big deal since they sell drinks at the bar and will give you a bag of ice with the drinks).

Beautiful grounds. Teed off right on time, no waiting. Maybe the pro could mention golfers ediquit to slower players and let people go by that wind up waiting an unreasonable amount of time for them to play. There were three playing before us and we waited at least 20 minutes a hole. We could have played through and been done an hour or so sooner. The people working at the establishment were top notch. Spotted us some delicious hot dogs. Thank you to the cook.

Fun course with great views of the mountains. We had a big group for a bachelor party and the pro staff was awesome - they set up some contests on a few holes and threw in a few prizes. Everyone had a great time and you can't beat the Friday deal that includes lunch.

Horrible Experience, tee time 7:16am, started on back nine. The greens on the back nine were unputtable, saturated sloppy messes the entire 9. Played hole 18, same thing horrible wet greens, get to hole 1 and the greens are firm and rolling ok, I don’t understand why, we started on the back nine. Course management must not care. Feel like only 9 holes we were playing golf, very unfortunate.

My wife and I played this course and had a good time. Mostly flat but very scenic. Runs along the river and the course was in good shape. Greens well taken care of and the pro shop was helpful about the layout.
