Not a very nice course but better since they got new carts. Sand traps are full of weeds, and a lot of dirt where there should be grass. It can have very bad gnats at times. If you can play it for a low price it's okay.

Had a blast. Anyone reading older reviews just know the tee boxes are much better and golf carts are super nice!

A nice, out of the way, simple golf course. Not a lot of frills, but for $32 riding I was very content. They had no problem with my wife riding along with me, and we had a great time. The greens were very nice and quite receptive for me, and they rolled very true. Shooting 83 was a huge plus, too!

My wife and i are looking for a new club to start a membership at so we went to black bear. The course is decent with some challenges. The staff was great. The biggest issue was it is over run by Minnesota cabin goers that are rude, slow playing, and arrogant. The group in front of us was holding up 3 groups and would not allow us to golf through. One of the blue plate vehicles drove her suv into the driving range! Not a course i would recommend for wisconsin residents.

Will not golf here again the Tee boxes on every hole were like teeing off in the Gravel Pit. For the price that they charged I could have golfed in the Twin Cities for that amount and would have been on a professional course! The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars because the bartender in the bar was very nice! I should have asked for my green fees back.... There was four of us in the group the total cost for 18 holes was or $200 and I think I wrecked my $400 driver on the rocks on all the Tee Box's!!!! My advice stay away.

Loved the golf course and it was in good shape as of 5/31/2020. Greens were a little shaggy and slow. I did have 1 major issue. I accidentally left my new ($130) Bushnell GPS device stuck to the pole on our golf cart. My fault for forgetting about it until we got back home. I immediately called when I realized and had to leave a message on their VM. Called again the next morning and talked to an employee. Sent and email through their contact address found on the website. Called a 3rd time the next day. I have yet to get a single person there to send, or call me with any response. I don't thin…

This course is one user friendly course, with a great staff and enough difficulty to maintain ones interest. It is not a $3000 a month country club with bent grass fairways, but it is a great place for a round of golf.

Lack of a ranger to keep an eye on the golfers is my main knock to this place. As soon as people are out of eyesight they group up with their friends. We have been behind a nine-some which was excruciating. We called the clubhouse as they were not allowing our two-some to pass and they did nothing. Very disappointing but since there isn't a lot of different places to golf around here, we are kinda stuck with this place. A little on the spendy side for the quality of golf as well.
