In summary

Fox Run Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful, well-maintained course, friendly and accommodating staff, and scenic "up north" setting, making it a popular choice for both golfing and social events. The club offers a 9-hole regulation course and a par 3 course, both of which are appreciated for their challenging yet enjoyable layouts. While most experiences are positive, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with the club's policy on charging for non-golfing riders and have noted occasional issues with staff demeanor.

The course itself was beautiful, well-kept, and such a fun place to spend the day. There were plenty of pretty spots throughout the round, and the whole course had that perfect “up north golf day” feel. Relaxed, scenic, and enjoyable from start to finish. The staff was also fantastic. Everyone was friendly, fun, welcoming, and made the experience even better. You can tell they enjoy what they do, and that always makes a difference. And I have to give Fox Run a little extra credit because I shot my best game yet here, so clearly this course brings out greatness… or at least finally decided to…

Fox Run graciously hosted my husband's Surprise 60th birthday party. Staff was extraordinary and beyond accommodating. It was the BEST experience and would highly recommend this amazing place for a get together. I would absolutely also recommend for golfing a fantastic course!

Had a lot of fun with my 4 year old son. It was his first time and the par 3 was perfect for it. Friendly staff and clean facilities.

Played there with my family once and we were literally the only people at the course. I cannot stress enough that we were actually the only people at the course. After hole 1 we were told to either split up our 3v3 scramble or we can get a refund and leave. We chose to leave and continue our 3v3 scramble at Siren National with absolutely no problems. The team at Fox Run Golf is not friendly or understanding.

Nice northwoods 9 hole course with a bonus 9 hole par 3. Clubhouse was welcoming and staff were great. Pro shop area was decent and course had logo ball. Greens in this northwoods course were superb to putt on....which includes all the greens for the par 3. Playing around trees and varying terrain kept some challenges up. Fairways and rough was cut well with teeboxes in ok shape. Some of the landscaping features on the par 3 were pretty neat. Good place to stop and check out.

Fox Run Golf Course is a great place to play golf and also enjoy a drink or two! The people who work there are fun and truly care about your experience while you are golfing. Sometimes, people get upset when they have to pay for a person who is not golfing, but every golf course around charges a fee for riding in a cart whether you golf or not and whether or not you are busy. Thank you for the great reviews!! We enjoy having you at the golf course as much as you enjoy being there.

My husband and I actually live in Voyager Village but choose to golf at Fox Run versus at VV course. Don’t get me wrong, Voyager is a beautiful course! Fox Run provides more of a family atmosphere. We have made MANY friends at Fox Run. We put together many spontaneous scrambles and they are always accommodating. Love the owners and the staff! The maintenance crew and the owners put in a lot of time and energy into making the course beautiful this year…especially after the devasting damage they had from heavy snow and ice the year before. The course really does look awesome this year!

The course is in great shape and fun to play. I made a tee time for myself and wasn’t paired with anyone, but they still charged me for a rider ($10) who just sat there and watched me play. Otherwise, I would’ve golfed by myself and not bring them along, but what fun is that?In my opinion, you shouldn’t charge someone for just sitting in a seat, especially if you aren’t that busy.

We brought a group in of about 13 people and only half of us were playing golf. The management at Fox Run set us up with extra clubs, and gave our group extra carts for those not playing to join us on the Par 3 to watch. Our group has this annual outing and we can't wait to come back!
