Incredibly scenic golf course in a serene setting. Upon arrival you’ll wonder where all the holes are at- they wander back into the hills. Various sets of tees challenge golfers at any level. Michael the starter helpful and friendly. Order food right from the cart and it’s ready for you when you make the turn. I will be back.

Me and my brother played Black Mesa this week twice and truly loved the course. Staff was great especially the started Jerry. He was very friendly and helpful about the course. We highly recommend Black Mesa and will definitely play there again.

I love scenic courses and this one is fantastic! We were traveling through the area and I’m so glad we stopped to play today. By far one of my favorite courses and I’ve played most of the top 10 public courses in the US. I need to visit NM more and each time I do, will add this course on my must play list.

Black Mesa Golf Club is an incredible public course. Amongst the best conditions and fun/challenging layout you’ll find in New Mexico. The staff is also very nice and dedicated to the guest experience.

Fantastic golf course, beautiful carved through the terrain just north of Santa Fe. Challenging but fair, follow the advice on the screen in your cart for hole by hole. Very nice condition, greens rolled nicely , apparently everything tends to break towards the valley. The staff was very nice and helpful from start to finish as well!

We came down for spring break. Staff was very friendly, starter was great too. Not the normal golf course that hates when you show up for a tee time! I was paired up with a couple from Colorado, very nice ppl. Course was in perfect shape! I’m from DFW Texas and can’t compliment this course enough. My first time to NM and have to say this is in my top 3 courses I’ve ever played. Staff made it even better, wife dropped me off and they let me play a few holes again while I waited. Great experience and awesome staff

Played there for my birthday 4/12/25. What a ridiculously hard course! Layout was very challenging and it was hard to see where things went for a first timer. Super fun experience, but it was not in the best shape or even in good shape. It was $100 to play and I’d have to say it wasn’t worth it at this time. Would love to see it at its best.

Played in 40/50 states and many top ranked privately and public. This course was really special in terms of topography. Interesting layout with options on several holes to hit driver or lay up into the wider fairway. Fairways and greens were green and healthy, not the fastest greens but for the price, 5/5 all day.

Really nice course, in great condition. As I'm learning seems traditional for New Mexico courses, this course has gravel/dirt paths for both golf carts and walkers. I didn't see any walkers today but seems like it is walked by some golfers. The track is very hilly and thank goodness for powerful golf carts! Lou was today's starter--nice guy, really helpful to show me around, give me a couple pointers on #1 and #2. Hope to be back!

If you're in the Santa Fe area this is a don't miss place. Scenic vistas everywhere and course was in perfect shape. Greens have huge slopes in them and are severe. Playing this place is an adventure with all the elevation changes and uphill and downhill shots. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Green fee on a Saturday was $99. Less than half of Paako Ridge and $30 less than Twin Warriors. Be aware they don't take American Express cards. I'd choose this place if I was only playing once in the area..

Beautiful golf course. We played Saturday Oct 16th, 2022. First group off as a twosome. We were expecting to be paired as they were pretty upfront on their website about pairing people to make foursomes. (Not an issue for us) We felt like the course was ours and that was awesome. The course was in perfect condition. You couldn't ask for a more perfect day pertaining to the weather. I want to give a shout out to Joseph for being so personable and taking the time to make sure we had everything we needed. Great dude. The value you get at their price point. 89$ for this beautiful course on a weeke…

Full price for what you could call winter conditions at best (had to move off multiple tee boxes, avoid sandy fairway areas, and move balls away from green issues). I was part of a group of 2 solos forced to ride in the same cart after requesting not to. This was the first tee time of the day without a full tee sheet for the day. Returned from 18 and there are no less than 20 carts still available. The lady running the place doesn’t seem to be too welcoming. Better courses in the area to give your money to IMO. Great setting and course layout. If there was more realistic view of their course a…
