In summary

Towa Golf Club is appreciated for its scenic setting and interesting course design, with some visitors highlighting the friendly and helpful staff. However, many reviews express significant concerns about the course's poor condition, particularly the fairways and greens, which detract from the overall golfing experience. Some guests also mention issues with limited amenities and high fees given the state of the course.

Played in late October. Piñon and valley, the Hale Irwin courses. Boulder was closed for repair till next year. The other William Phillips designed nine got ripped out in 2005. I'm Glad the course is there, the course was fun, with some interesting challenges. Runs through the badlands up and down through the sand hills. Piñon hole 1, 3 , and 6 were cool. I would go again when I'm in the right frame of mind. I don't want to knock an obviously struggling business but the conditions are quite bad. Disastrous. I'm not sure what happened, but the fairways are fried and the greens have bare spots.…

Cool setting and interesting/fun design... unfortunately the condition of the course was not good. Now, in all fairness we played off season - Early April - but having been on many courses across the country it's very evident that they need to give the superintendent a much bigger budget. That said the staff was nice.

They are trying to bring it back. Greens are very nice. Fairways are rough yet. The driving range is off mats right now. Liked the chipping green area.

Normally this is 4 star to my standards but an issue I seen that wasn’t per se golf course related but they can do what they want. The front nine looked great the back nine needed a little more maintenance but they had weather issues that may cause them problems. The golf carts ran great plus they have the GPS to help you out. The pro shop had options for what you may want clubs balls outer wear. The staff was great and no issues with that. The issue I seen was with the chef of police which you may or may not run into in the parking lot he accused the driver of the cart I was in going to fast.…

Update 3/2024 do not golf here. This place is a toilet! No food or beer. The “golf pro” was not friendly at all when we asked about getting some drinks. Bought a membership before the round and was given a refund at the end. I will never play here again. It is evident that management and Hilton do not care. I would be very disappointed if I traveled here for good golf. Greens where green were good, they have not been trimmed or rolled. Fairways are trash see pics. The course is in terrible shape... I am really appalled that they would charge $69 for 18 holes on this course. It’s my understand…

Second week of July 2025. This once pristine, wonderful Golf course to play is now an absolute horrible condition. Do not play it. When we checked in and paid nobody said anything about the condition of the course we didn't know it was bad until we got to the first tee box and the starter told us don't look at the course condition look at the scenery. I didn't pay for the scenery I paid to play a golf course. The greens for the most part were okay they were puttable and playable. But the fairways are absolute trash. Stay away stay away stay away. And make sure you review it before you go. That…

Course was in great shape. 3 different 9 holes courses. Best course in the area. Linda and her staff were great. Joe, Eddie and Tom were all very courteous. Would definitely recommend this course. Amazing experience. Pictures do not give the views justice.

Hands down, the worst golf course I’ve ever played. The fairways and greens were in AWFUL shape. Save your money and go elsewhere. It looks as if the course doesn’t have a maintenance crew and if they do, they have tons of work to do. I will never play this course again.

A fantastic golf resort that is sadly in terrible condition currently. Great staff and prices, but half of the entire course is ground under repair right now.

Beautiful set up with 3 distinctive 9 hole courses. Pinion and Boulder courses have been very bad shape. I can confirm all other comments on the current bad status of these courses. There are better options in the area!

Very fun course for a decent price. The areas around the greens were a bit beat up and the tee boxes were mushy. Other than that the course is challenging with gourgeous views of the NM landscapes.
