In summary

Black Swan Country Club is frequently praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained course, and accommodating staff, making it a popular choice for weddings and events. Many visitors appreciate the challenging layout and quality of the greens. However, some golfers express dissatisfaction with the mandatory cart policy, high pricing, and occasional slow pace of play, which they feel detracts from the overall experience.

I cannot recommend this venue enough! First of all, the wedding coordinator, Donna, is wonderful. Her experience and the way she carried herself throughout the whole process made me feel at ease. She listened to what I wanted from start to finish and was able to answer all of my questions. She communicates well, I never felt abandoned. The staff was very nice. The venue is elegant and we really enjoyed having out ceremony outdoors on site. We got ready in the bridal suite and it was a good size for my smaller bridal party but may be a little too small for a larger group. The food, from starter…

We had our wedding there October 2024 the staff were amazing, food was awesome, the Essex Ballroom room was gorgeous the staff decorated it perfectly for our wedding and our outdoor ceremony was everything we could imagined with great weather. They sure do great for weddings. I highly recommended black swan for weddings they are very affordable and accommodating.

Our wedding venue was absolutely stunning, they made our vision come to life, set up our decor exactly how we wanted, and the coordinator Tiffany was phenomenal. She was highly responsive to all of our emails and questions from the moment we booked the venue until the day of the event. Everything went off without a hitch. Not to mention that the venue is incredibly beautiful both inside the ballroom and outside on the grounds. I really felt like planning our wedding at Black Swan was the most painless process and it's because of their expertise, professionalism, and experience.

We were supposed to go to a wedding at a different location but it got canceled the week before because of terrible circumstances. The poor bride and groom had to search for another location in less than a week. Lucky for them they found the Black Swan Country Club. We had never been there before. The wedding was beautiful and the food was very good. The staff were very nice also. Thanks to the Black Swan for ending this stressful week for the couple with beautiful wedding memories.

I got to play the golf course today, first one off the tee and played it solo. It is a pretty nice course, there is a nice mix of holes, and the greens were good. I would recommend playing here, price was worth it for what I got. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because of the tee boxes. I played Sunday morning and the tee boxes were like hitting out of the rough. Why not just cut the grass down?

The course itself is in great shape — no doubt about it. Fairways are lush, greens roll true, and the layout is both fun and challenging. I’d gladly play here more often based on course quality alone. That said, the mandatory cart policy combined with a $95 round is absolutely criminal. Golf should feel like a day out, not a luxury tax. Being forced into a cart when you’d prefer to walk (and then paying such a steep rate) takes a lot of the shine off the experience. Bottom line: fantastic course, but the pricing and policies make it hard to justify coming back, so I won't.

The course hit an all time low today. I really like this course but today’s round took 5:37. There wasn’t a ranger in sight and we saw a group that had two empty holes in front of them. This is unacceptable. We waited on every shot for 18 holes. Management should be embarrassed. They need to do better.

Great course but mandatory cart policy limits the chance of returning. Rounds stretch to nearly 5 hours, mostly spent sitting in the cart, which limits the opportunity to enjoy the course at a comfortable walking pace. It would be much more enjoyable if walking were an option. Additionally, carts lack GPS, and many have worn or damaged seats - all for $95

Decent shape, but should be a lot better considering it’s a pretty Young Course. A lot of the holes have little to no character, all mimic each other. Overall just OK. Update: The 2025 price increases make this place absolutely not worth the money. Go to a golf course like Scottish Highlands that actually respects people’s income and love for the sport.

My new favorite course, friendly staff. Warm up and clubhouse area feels like a movie set. Course is well kept and need to use irons to set shots up. Challenging!
