In summary

Far Corner Golf Club offers a challenging and well-maintained 27-hole layout with scenic elevation changes, which many golfers find enjoyable and rewarding. The staff is generally praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play, course navigation, and maintenance of certain areas, such as tee boxes and fairways. Additionally, the lack of water stations and occasional overcrowding have been points of concern for some players.

First time playing here. Course looked fantastic. Great fairways and greens, tough par 4s/5s that added a good challenge. Lots of fun!

Michael was such a great ranger, I just had to write a little something about him. His smile radiated around the course, and you could tell he loves his job. He personally showed us how to get to the last course when we were having a hard time finding our way. The course itself was pretty nice, although I didn’t like that the driving range balls were all over the first hole and some of the tee boxes could use some work. It is confusing to get to the hawk, but Michael was super helpful and the ride was beautiful so we didn’t mind.

If you like 6 hour rounds this is the place for you! Hackers delight, with no ranger in sight. If you get stuck on hawk, good luck. Nice staff and greens roll. If you’re a 25 handicap this is the spot for you!

One of my favorite local tracks 💯 27 hole course (Plays like 3, 9 hole tracks. Fox/Heron/Hawk) Fox/Heron is the original 18, and the more forgiving of the 3. Fox is fairly flat, with some holes slanting left to right (hole #6 I believe). Great par 5 on hole #1 to start with on Fox 💯. Heron is more hilly, but still manageable, with some left to right plants in the fairways. Hawk to me, is deffinately the hardest of the 3 💯%. Its super hilly, slants...doesnt get as much water and sun due to it being in the very back of the course. Deffinately the hardest of the 3. I usually play Fox/Heron an…

Definitely worth the money. Also the pro shop merch is awesome.

The course is good. The amenities are lacking Lousy restroom that is hidden under the proshop. There is no place to gather until 11am. No chicken fingers. Customer service is good. The problem shop has nothing to do with the food service. So don't ask them about it.

This is a very very hilly course made up of 3 different 9 hole courses. The course is fairly priced but it's not a top tier course. If you're looking to swing the club and play a casual round, this place is great. Their weekend deal after 3PM is great too. If you prefer to pay more for a nicer course, I would suggest looking somewhere else.

I've played this course many times over the years and it's definitely a challenging public course. There are three nine hole courses (Fox, Herron, and Hawk). I've only played Fox and Herron and the course rewards you for being in the fairway and first cut of rough. When you miss, you're in a lot of trouble as many holes are tree-lined and a few holes on Herron slope right into the woods so accuracy is critical here. The greens are often multi-tiered and the best option is to be below the hole. Such a well groomed course and great value ($49/walking on a Friday - 2024 rates). Get out there a…

If you’re thinking about playing here, do yourself a favor and don’t. The walk from the pro shop to the first hole on the Hawk course is more than half a mile. You’d think the guy who checked us in would’ve mentioned that, right? Nope. He was completely clueless and no help at all, even when I asked where the hell we were supposed to go. When we finally got out there, the course conditions were some of the worst I’ve ever seen. And I’ve played plenty of budget tracks — this one takes the cake. Most fairways weren’t fairways at all; just random patches of green surrounded by dead grass, mud, o…

They have three separate 9 hole courses. The course was pretty well maintained. It had rained hard for a couple days so the bunkers were like rocks and a fee had big puddles in them. The greens were a little beat up from a tournament.

Has been about 20 years since I played and was impressed with the course conditions. Greens were in excellent shape and course seemed to drain fairly well considering the recent rain. Had an early team before 7am and played 18 holes in < 4.5 hrs. Walking can be a bit challenging especially on the heron or hawk course

Far Corner is an open but challenging layout with some long par 3s. The greens are in great shape and the fairways are plush. I thoroughly enjoy playing there occasionally. If you want a relaxing round and don’t want to be constantly searching the woods for your ball, this is the place. Friendly staff too.
