So, I'm on a long-term visit to the Virginia/Maryland region and brought my golf clubs. I initially played at Penderbrook Golf Course several times and over-charged based on the horrible course conditions. Fast forward two weeks later and I found a gem in Blue Mash Golf Course! These guys take pride in the product they're presenting to their Golfer's. At a rate of $139 for a morning tee-time, I was thoroughly happy with Every Single hole! Beautiful Fairways and Greens made the round well worth the cost, and the attached photos doesn't do the course justice. If you're in town, Maryland, I highl…

Blue Mash is AWESOME! The greens just went through aeration and are darn near PERFECT! Jimmy at check-in does a great job and is very helpful! 10 out of 10 friends! : )

Played many rounds of golf here and absolutely love the course. Course is well maintained, and scenic, as there is a lot of water and rolling hills throughout the middle of the 18 holes during a round. Food and drinks are always tasty, ans the staff all around is very great. Defnitely worth a stop by if youre in the area and itching to get a round in.

Bluemash used to be a great local course, but now I struggle to see the point of ever playing here again. Bluemash was always that nice in between option, where if you wanted to play a better course than an MCG one, but didn’t want to shell out $130+ for a really nice course like whisky creek or make a long drive to PB Dye and the like, Bluemash was your best bet; you’d pay extra for that better quality, but it was reasonable. Well, not anymore…Bluemash prices this year have been well above $100, mostly in the $130 range. At these prices, what’s the point of playing this course anymore? I’d ra…

Great course in great shape. Fast greens. Always love playing there. My only wish was for the wind to die down today. The cooler temperatures, I can deal with but the howling wind is a different story. Overall, I highly recommend Blue Mash!

Comfortably the best condition public course in the DMV. A joy to play with the fall colors in the backdrop on a beautiful Sunday for golf. Pros - Greens are fantastic, they’ll hold a ball and run fast and true - The layout is enjoyable for folks who don’t boom it off the tee, lots of short par 4s to make you think but there are some challenging holes too - 11 is a tough par 3 - The price point of $79 for a twilight round is great value for the quality of this track. Appreciate the electric carts w/GPS too. Cons - Pace of play was slow, took 4h40m & we finished in darkness. Didn’t see a mars…

Very fun and challenging course with a lot of interesting holes that make you think. Course was in great condition - right up there with the other top public courses in the area. No drivers allowed on the range is a little annoying but it’s not the end of the world.

This isn’t a comment about the course because we didn’t get to play. Group was traveling in for a weekend golf trip from out of state. Day before our arrival, course called and said they made a mistake and cancelled 2 tee times (claimed they forgot to block the times we reserved 2 weeks prior, due to a tournament ) . Get that mistakes happen but pretty unprofessional, first time I’ve ever heard of a course doing this.

Great track. The conditons where great from tee box to green. Challanging where needed but fun for all levels. Greens are very challanging or maybe my putting was just bad that day lol. Pace of play was right on time. Would defientely recommend playing here.

Great challenging course. Greens were in good shape, especially for just being aerated. Tee boxes are pretty well beat up, but that is what it is this time of the season. One negative, the bugs. Holy cow are they brutal here. Don't show up without a can of bug spray, you will be hating life.

Mostly play at winter times in past few years as summer rate is too pricey for me. Long and wide fairway. Big greens (fast). A lot of holes with water especially the back nine. The ponds does show a blue reflection in winter time as the name of the course indicates. Beautiful and great golf course. Played again 11/22/22. The course is in great shape with great winter rate from Teeoff. Love Blue Mash.

Disappointed with my experience this time around. I'll start with the positives. The course is well maintained and in top shape. The practice facility is also one of the best in the county. As for the cons, the prices have gone up significantly since my last time playing. However, my main reason for only giving two stars was the marshall. He was all over us throughout the day. Admittedly, throughout the round we were 15-17 minutes behind pace so I can certainly understand a couple check-ins, however this was over the top, as he stopped to talk with us about 5 times. Some of those times, he wou…
