In summary

Needwood Golf Club is generally praised for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and enjoyable layout, with both an 18-hole and a shorter 9-hole option available. The club offers a relaxed atmosphere with additional amenities like a driving range and an outdoor grill serving food and drinks. However, some visitors have reported issues with the pace of play, course maintenance, and occasional staff rudeness, which have detracted from their overall experience.

Great course that lets golfers have a fun round for an affordable price point. Course is well maintained, and staff is friendly and helpful. Never a bad day playing there. If youre looking to get a quick, fun round of golf in, definitely reccommend stopping by. There is an 18 hole course, and a shorter 9-hole course on property as well.

Good public course. It was easy to set up tee times and get info from the staff. Driving range right off the back with ample amount of spots. Tee boxes were super hard. Many tees were broke trying to get them to stick in the ground. Not overly busy, and lot's of shade around the course.

Pretty relaxing and welcoming public golf course that has an outdoor grill and seating serving some nice brats, steak and cheese and local beers on tap. If not going for a serious golf, ofcourse it has a nice 18 hole course, pop down for a chill beer and grilled brats to spend your time with friends and family. They also have some special events on and off. Check out their website for more info. When weather is inclement, they have indoor seating too. Food choices are limited as one would expect from a bar operated on a golf course.

First time golfing 9 holes for me. Great starting course but with some challenging curves on the fairway. Fun to play. Staff was great and playera are kind to beginners. Picked up a couple to add on and make a foursome which was fun. Looking forward to next time.

Just played the executive 9. It was short and sweet. Well maintained. Staff is courteous and friendly. Looking forward to playing the remaining 18 holes.

This golf course is well maintained and well staffed! The staff is very friendly and professional. Took my son for some driving range time and we both had a great time. Of course kids always get hungry when they are out and about so we stopped by the concessions for some burgers. Adam was great! I always say; it's not what you, its how you do it and most of the its not what you say, its how you say it that makes a world of a difference. Adam was the last employee that we were in contact with and he made it pleasant for us! We'll definitely come back for more driving range shots and of course t…

I am playing here right now in March, and the bunkers have NO RAKES throughout the entire course. The bunkers are a mess and the ball in un hittable from. This is a disgrace and the course gets a huge knock on not informing about.

Tee boxes not In good shape. Fairways need work. Greens were just ok. Looks like weather has messed with another course. This course normally much better.

Golfed there today for the first time. Beautiful course, well maintained. Had a 6am tee time and arrived right at 6am. Didn’t get out to the starter until 6:05am because the cashier was laughing and joking with someone from the group behind me (6:11am tee time) while I waited in line behind him. Get out to the starter (Tony) who could not have been more rude. Lecturing me, saying I was late. He made my group (2 of us) catch up to another group of two on the second hole, didn’t let us play the 1st hole because of the 5 minutes. He told us we could play the first hole at the end. Of course, afte…

Course is consistently in good shape. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Pace moves well, usually 4:30 max, probably a little over 4 on average. I play there about 3 times a week as a single and all the golfers I’ve played with have been friendly. Good place to play!!!

Great municipal course. Even in February and after a ton of rain, the course is maintained quite well. Executive nine is lots of fun. Quality practice facilities. Friendly staff.
