In summary

Bluenose Golf Club is praised for its breathtaking views of Lunenburg Harbor and its well-maintained, challenging 9-hole course, which features hilly terrain and scenic fairways. The clubhouse is popular for its delicious food and friendly service, making it a favored spot even for non-golfers. However, some visitors note issues with course signage and the behavior of certain members towards newer golfers, as well as occasional delays in tee times and clubhouse openings.

Beautiful views. Had a tee time at 7:00am and didn't tee off until 7:15am. Club house opened 10 minutes late which was annoying. Hilly walk and a bit of a confusing course, thankfully we played with a member who showed us the way. Played 9 with amazing views, not a bad way to start the morning.

With friends in the clubhouse we enjoyed some lovely food including awesome chowder. The view and cold beer was enough. The food was the icing on the cake.

We went there only to have lunch. You don't have to be a member to eat here. The view was absolutely breathtaking! Just that makes it totally worth it. Our server, Megan, was very efficient, friendly, and helpful. Oh, and the food was delicious!! You can sit outside in the shade or inside.

This is a delightful place to eat!!!! The service and food are beyond wonderful and the views of Lunenburg are unique. Well, most people eat in Lunenburg, for obvious reasons. I think for reasons not so obvious you should go to the golf course have a great meal and look at the World Heritage Site, LUNENBURG.

Great course and great view! Lots of hills to climb. I would recommend a cart if you have a mean slice. It’s a 9 hole course with two tee boxes for 18. The clubhouse has a great fish and chips. Scallops and shrimp starters were also fantastic. All staff and members were very friendly.

After spending the day surrounded by all the tourists in Lunenburg we took a chance to go to the other side of the harbor to have a cocktail at the Bluenose Golf Club--a great find (and only locals were there)! The manager Hannah suggested we sit outside (overlooking Lunenburg--great view!) for a beer and recommended checking out Hirtle's Beach which was wonderful for a quiet long walk. Then we came back for dinner and enjoyed a "loaded caesar" (a bloody mary but with clamato juice and all the trimmings: shrimp/bacon wrapped scallops) and a fantastic scallop/salad dinner while watching the su…

Great 9-hole course with outstanding views of Lunenburg Harbor. Lots of elevation and fairly forgiving fairways. A few hidden greens. The course was not busy at all so I was able to take my time (Sunday afternoon in late October). The twilight/off season greens fee was $24, plus $14 club rental, and $7 pull cart rental (all prices for 9 holes).

Beautiful views but that's it. Nice staff but course is pure hills and very very poorly signed. Most of the time you have no idea where you're hitting your ball. Would not recommend. We like to walk but literally impossible at this course.

Travelling in the area for a few days post Hurricane Fiona. Had a blast golfing here for the first time. Did 18 holes. Better on the back nine as knew the course layout. (Love golf but I'm not very good, HCP 24) So much variety in playing the different holes. Course was in great shape. Fall colours and views were amazing. Friendly staff.

The tee offs were not smooth by any means, but rather grassy in a long grass sort of way. The fareways were very rough, holy, and deep in terms of grass and terrain . It’s mostly a walking course but since we come from Ontario we needed a cart. I was not impressed on the grounds keeping of this golf course, for what they were charging. No incentive to ever go back. It’s a shame considering the ocean view and what this course can potentially offer if it would be given more attention.

Short 9 hole course, but it's in good shape, and has great views through out, every staff member I interacted with was super friendly and helpful. Tons of deer on the course.

This very non traditional course offers a fantastic golf experience! Tiny greens, and elevation on each hole sounds like an overly challenging combination, but it is a fair course that rewards good shots and the scenery can't be beat! Not a good course for beginners or the overly serious, but great for casual golfers.
