In summary

BraeBurn Country Club in Houston is highly praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and excellent staff, with many appreciating its historical significance and recent renovations that enhance its natural contours. The club's facilities and amenities, including a top-notch AV system and dining options, are noted for their quality and exclusivity, making it a preferred venue for events. However, there is a rare mention of staff behavior needing improvement, suggesting room for better management oversight.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BraeBurn Country Club is the Cal Ripken of Houston golf. Never the prettiest swing in the park. Never the fellow grabbing headlines on the front page. Never dressed up for applause. Just there, season after season, decade after decade, lacing up its spikes and going quietly about the business of doing things properly while shinier suburban clubs, Sugar Creek, Sweetwater, Shadow Hawk, Blackhorse and others strutted through town and then faded just as quickly. For nearly a century, BraeBurn has weathered the great depression, oil booms and busts, suburban drift, nearby urban decay…

Excellent facility in pristine condition and a staff par excellence. I was there for a TxGA tournament and the head pro and his staff couldn't have been more helpful with tips on how to play the course and manage shots to the greens.

I recently had the honor of attending an event at the BraeBurn Country Club in Houston, through my alliance with SCORE as a volunteer for as a business coach and keynote speaker. This beautiful venue exceeded all expectations, making it the perfect choice to host our year-end awards appreciation event for volunteers who are business owners and executives. Starting with the stunning campus—the club grounds are absolutely breathtaking, and the golf course alone reflects the exclusivity and respect offered to members and their guests. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by security, and the ease…

Came here once. Never again. Happened to meet up with a couple of friends and we happened to come across a worker there. Not sure what her name was, but i heard someone call her alondria ?! She was other workers and hearing them speak so horribly about others was a big no no ! They sure just hire anyone nowadays. management, do better !

Great layout - not easy at all - and the course was in outstanding condition. Some of the best greens I've played in a long time. Staff was very friendly all the way around. Not a member but if I lived closer would definitely want to join. A lot of little things that add to the experience. Wonderful club.

A great, old Houston golf course that was designed in 1926 by John Bredemus with help from Jimmy Demaret, who went on to become one of the founders of Champions Golf Club with Jack Burke, Jr. Brademus designed BraeBurn shortly after his more well-known Houston masterpiece, Memorial Park Golf Course. In 1992, BraeBurn underwent a significant renovation that was partly funded through a contribution from the Harris County Flood Control District, which now uses BraeBurn as a temporary flood control area during periods of heavy rain. The late Carlton Gipson, a well-known designer of golf courses t…

Refusing to pay there vendors, not returning phone calls or emails. Needed a dive inspection done so as we do we did the inspection gave them the video and reports and now it's time to pay and there avoiding us and we are getting the run around when we show up there. No one will return a email or phone call. All vendors be warned we are filing a lawsuit against them as seems they have no desire to pay us. Talked to several other vendors who have stated there still waiting to be paid from last year. Do not do any work or deliver any goods to them without securing full payment upfront. I'm gla…
