Nice course. Greens were really slow. The putting green was much slower than the greens. Tee boxes were very nice and so were the fairways. Greens were very nice just slow. Par 5’s were very quirky. Number 9 I had to hit iron off the tee. You should never have to hit an iron off the tee on a par 5. I would rate it a 3.5 if I was able to choose. Played Highlands. Bunkers were not good….. very little to no sand mostly dirt and very thin.

I had never been to Wildcat. I was invited by a friend to play in a fundraiser. Right from the start, I liked this place. The staff are very professional and helpful. Our round was on the Highlands. The course was in perfect condition. The course has so much character. A couple of blind shots so be aware. Greens are huge and roll real true. I highly recommend playing this course if you haven’t already.

Course used to be better. Played Highlands. Hadn’t played here is a couple years. Greens were in terrible condition and were extremely slow. I understand that they’re still coming out of dormancy from the winter, but other courses in the area offer a much better greens experience. Not sure what has happened since I played here last, but definitely not the same experience as before. It used to be a top tier experience but there are easily 10 other public courses within the greater Houston area which offer a better experience.

Loved this course. We played the Highlands course. Loved the elevation changes throughout the course. Didn't know you could find that in Houston. I will have to come back and try the Lake course. Sounds super challenging! Can't wait. I highly recommend you try this course if you haven't!

You won't be disappointed playing this course. The greens and fairways are perfectly maintained. The friendly staff was on point, especially the starter. Wow that dude needs a raise. Great PR guy. The Lakes has always been a challenge no matter what tee you play. One day I'll bring the Lakes to its needs. Lol. Don't hesitate to play this course no matter the price. It's well worth it and you are investing on a course they maintain well. Go get some WILDCAT GREENS!! You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful course and extremely well run. Really nice Mizuno rental set. We played the lakes and hole 3 was a beauty. It has a thoughtful design and combinations to challenge even the best golfers, specifically the greens (which were really tough) and run fast if it hasn't rained.

🚨🚨Beware- Utterly disgraceful and hostile management. Instead of giving a simple closing announcement or blowing a horn, staff (Pakistani guy) deliberately turned on industrial-level sprinklers—not normal misting, but violent, horse-power water gushing from every direction. We were paying members with friends and children, and everyone was soaked within seconds on a 45°F windy night. It felt intentional, humiliating, and completely unsafe. This is not how any professional facility treats people. Our membership ends this month, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place. If this is how…

(My first day as a duffer. ) after entering from airport, the entire world changes.... my first day as a golfer, but I felt right at home with the staff and clients. Friendly staff got me set up with a full basket on the range... then I had supper in the clubhouse. The Sammy I had ,for the money I payed is legendary! The clubhouse had a casual Friendly feel, even though it looked super expensive. My bartenders were very cool, and the guys sitting next to me were fun to hangout with. I am probably going to apply for a job here, that is how much I enjoyed my first visit...

I've played here many times but the course and staff have really gone downhill. The only nice person that was beverage cart lady. I paid over $125.00 and this course is not worth it. I won't be back, there are too many other courses to play in Houston.

Paid $120 just for us to get to 18 and have to play a temporary green. Nothing was told to us about a temporary green before the round. Course didn’t drain at all either.

After playing many of the “top rated” public courses in Houston, the Highlands Course at Wildcat Golf Club is an excellent golf course and among the top courses Houston public golf has to offer, with the exception of the 15th hole. Great views of NRG and Downtown as well.

Great course! Staff are professional & friendly. I've been here several times over the years while handling clients' corporate events. We've always had a great experience with this facility.
