In summary

Brenham Country Club receives praise for its friendly staff, well-maintained greens, and scenic setting, providing a pleasant golfing experience. However, some visitors express concerns about the course's layout, pace of play, and pricing, noting that fees may be high relative to the course's condition and amenities. While the overall experience is enjoyable for many, there are mentions of logistical issues and the need for better course management.

Great experience all around. Met a friend here, both of us live 1+hr away and we were impressed. Course was in good shape for December and everyone was really friendly. We had a blast.

Overall good course to play, course is a bit confusing to understand where the fairways are at each tee box, but challenging with narrow fairways and fast greens. Drove an hour to play here and it was worth it. Willing to come while it's not so busy. Looks like there are a lot of local members as I have not seen so many 5 some play together with each with their own carts. The worst part is getting behind these groups as they take forever and think they own the place jumping to different holes when they feel like it. We had two 5 some groups behind us and they decided to jump in front of us a…

The service was good. The people were kind, and professional! The course was horrid! Although the greens had dark spots they were smooth and functional. I have never seen a course in this condition. The good reviews are a joke! This is a course that need major financial investment! Major!

Not bad a bad course, not worth the $120 tho my honest opinion. This is more like a $70 course on the weekend. 50 during the week.. js

As of 04/18/25 , the greens were in poor shape (don't let the practice green fool you). Course navigation signage looks temporary, the club house was closed, and the driving range hitting surface was dirt. It's definitely not worth the $85 green / cart fee.

Came out here for a junior high tournament. They refused to rent a cart to my 75 yr old mother who drove an hour and a half to see her grandson play because she didn’t have a handicap placard. Absolutely UNREAL! Meanwhile I’m watching a young kid who IS NOT 16 drive all over the course in one of their carts!

Very nice course. Greens were great n fairways were good. Little tricky to get foam one green to the next tee box but figured it out. Grill was closed the day we went but nice setting.

Place is a total joke. Charged $62 at 3:30 in the afternoon. The place has 6 temporary greens at the moment and they are horrible. The real greens are solid but the grounds outside of that (fairway, rough, anything else) are pretty trash for the price they are charging. I'd pay $25 for these conditions, max. They don't warn you about the conditions either. It's really pretty unreal that that are doing this to people, it is a total ripoff. I'm not the type to leave reviews, but people should know not to play here if they are going to be charging this amount. Brenham needs a new golf course.

Nice course. Open to the public. It's a bit pricey on the greens fees.
