Recent improvements in course conditions have been noted, though some areas, such as the greens and sand traps, still require attention. Greens aren’t 100% but you can make it work. Putting not so good because of the conditions around the hole, but other that this is a great course. Staff are always friendly, great layout & residents are very nice. Get a DEAL, go here to play and have FUN!

The course is dated. The tee box were exceptional, fairways were not cut well you couldn't tell the fairway to the rough the greens had a lot of repair work done so it wasn't smooth. Too many maintenance works on the course not working and in the way. For the price point paid I'd rather go to another course for the money and get better quality sorry not sorry. Do better.

I played here about a week ago and was pleasantly surprised at the (improvements) that had been made. I say the above because I also played here over a year or so ago and it was terrible. Meaning, the condition of the course. However, my recent experience was good. They have really improved the overall condition of the course; and things appear to be heading in a better direction. Work is definitely being applied to improve it. So I commend and applaud the owners/staff - keep up the good work!!! Definitely plan to return again in the near future.

For $20 on Golfnow, it's cheaper than a driving range. The course serves it's purpose for me and beginners don't feel bad taking a big divot. Got a tee time on a Friday around lunchtime, smooth sailing! No pressure and could hit an extra shot or two if I needed too in order to work on a certain distance shot, mulligan, or missed putt due to hitting an impediment or chunk of sand. It's winter, it's bare, and it's a $20 course. Beginners have fun out there. Don't expect plush fairways & smooth greens. As a low handicap player, I use this course as target practice. Today, I need to work on this s…

This course is decent for the price. It's not a championship course but worth playing, especially if you're a beginner. I first played this course in September 2025, and the course conditions have significantly improved since then (playing again twice thereafter) I understand there is a new owner. So it appears they are trying to improve, which is working. Several of the greens were perfect when I last played. My only complaints are 1) the sand traps need great improvement because the sand is very hard and clay like, 2) some of the water hazards are bone dry, which affects the aesthetics, and…

I used to enjoy going to this course because it was quiet, quant, well kept and had nice people working there. The price was fair for a pretty nice public course. For the last 2 years this course is not worth the cost. Price to play keeps going up and the quality of the course keeps going down (even if you get a deal on Golf Now it is still not worth it). They used to even put out water and coolers with ice. . . . not anymore. Played 2 weeks ago and there were only 3 holes with actual greens. The rest of them all had temporary greens (and not good ones). It looks like someone went out to their…

Showed up a solo golfer today to hopefully squeeze in with a group. Girl at the desk took my name and # down and said if an opening popped up they’d give me a call. As I stood on the putting green I watched the next 3 groups go by, a two-some, a 4, and a 3… I go back in and ask what happened and she said yall don’t normally let singles walk on and sorry it’s getting missed. So I kindly had her remove my name and just left. My 1 star is for wasting my time, while yall are losing $.🤦‍♂️ I’ll definitely keep my golfing closer to town.

7/23/25. Not great, not terrible The vintage “working man’s” country club vibes are great if you’re into those things and remember them from yesteryear. The hole layout is fun and requires some thought and planning. There are several holes where water comes into play at driver distances, but there are also several holes with nice wide-open fairways so you can let it rip. There could be better signage for the transition between hole 14 & 15, but it’s not too hard to figure out. Overall, the course suffers from “overplay” without proper maintenance. Hole 6 is a prime example: no amount of wate…

Course was decent, good for the price but halfway through the back nine we were stopped by a man who previously had our cart and asked if we saw anything in there that had been left and we said no, because there wasn’t, later we were then approached by a blonde older woman who we later found out was the owner, and the ranger (who was very nice), she sped up on us and asked us if we had seen a jacket left in the cart, specifically in the basket, and we said no and that we were already approached by the man who the jacket belonged too, she then demanded us to open up our diaper bag (we had our 2…

They had a dream for this course at one time. I’ve added a pic or 2 of what that dream once was. And I’m sure at one time not long ago this was a real nice golf course. I think 2008 got to them and while it still poses some challenging holes it’s a bit run down now with gophers taking over and just a basic lack of maintenance. Over all for $50 on a Saturday my son and I had a good time.

Went to visit legendary today 10/14, Overall a good course, you can see they are making an effort to get their course up to par to others. Fairways were cut and easy to find your ball with actual grass, and the greens rolled well with a few brown patches on some holes but nothing to be mad about. Especially for a weekday rate is def not bad to get in 18. Will come back for another round. Only thing I would comment on is the flag stick, it was a windy day so they were just leaning sideways instead of staying in their spot.

Greens need alot of TLC. During the week not crowded at all, good place for some practice and to get your game straightened out.
