In summary

High Meadow Ranch Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both casual rounds and events. The setting offers a refreshing escape with its scenic surroundings and abundant wildlife. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the pace of play, particularly regarding the marshal's approach to managing it, and noted occasional issues with outdated golf carts and driving range facilities.

Course is in great shape. Greens were good only a few spots under repair, but all in all they rolled true. Weather was perfect with a light breeze. Course is super fun to plan. You could hit off the grass at the range which was nice. Didn't get to food as our round ended late but the beer was cold. Highly recommended!

We played here yesterday. Staff was friendly, course was beautiful and price was fair. I will definitely be coming back!

Nice drive from the concrete jungle to play on a well groomed and maintained course a few degrees cooler in the woods. It's quite refreshing even in the middle of summer. The staff is super friendly and helpful (not snooty or pretentious like other facilities). Even the locals and members are kind. The marshall is very active and moves the pace forward avoiding backups. Im a high handi and i was never told to play faster. Heartwarming to observe and play around the active wildlife and the custom homes spaced plenty far away from the course. The price is extremely fair especially compared to ot…

Golf carts are not electronic which I like because then you can drive wherever you need without getting stuck. Good restaurant on site. Price is a little high considering the carts are outdated. Driving range is on mats only which isn’t really good for warming up.

Today was my first time playing this course, they accommodated our church for a fellowship gathering. I play a lot of golf at a lot of courses and this place is something special. The people who work there are absolutely phenomenal The girl Audbrey at the grill went out of her way to help us in every way she could All of the staff were phenomenal. This is the best kept course in all of Houston and around Houston bar none Greens are perfect fairways are perfect rough is perfect. I can't say enough about this place

The marshal was rude from the very first hole, constantly complaining about our pace of play. As a note to this country club: when you require cart path only, the round will naturally take longer. Expecting a group of four to finish in four hours under those conditions is simply not realistic. And if you’re going to treat non-members this way, you might as well not open tee times to non-members and save me from over spending on a tee time. The marshal’s attitude completely took away from the experience…never coming back.

First off, course is in great shape ! Glad this public course is still around too many private courses these days!! However this place is horribly ran top to bottom! I have asked for the head pro in person and over the phone and never hear back!! It’s like he is a ghost! I was considering membership but dude is never there!!! There are always children in the afternoon, some a very disrespectful, especially while I was in the grill,( parents do better!) overall place is good shape ,bad people working and really punk kids! However the teenager and older gentleman think his name was Aaron was n…

Great place for a fundraiser or for a round of golf. It is a beautiful, well-kept golf course with lots of amenities. As mentioned, it is a great place to hold an event of any kind. There is plenty of parking and a large banquet room as well.

Only giving it 2-stars. We were on time to finish a scramble by 4:10. The course Marshall told us we had to pickup the ball at the hole and skip it because we were too slow. (He told others to do the same). We were lightly pressing the guys up front and we still finished under 4:15. I think anything under 4:30 is pretty good for a scramble. Very unprofessional I paid a chunk of change to golf here and the course is nice but professionalism is poor. Customer service and customers experience weighs heavy than the course.

Heart4Children has hosted its Golf Tournament @ High Meadow for the past three years. The course is Truly beautiful and such a unique location. The staff are amazing and Emily Nolley was so easy to work with and made things run so smoothly.

I came to this course expecting a professional and welcoming environment, but instead I was subjected to racist treatment that completely ruined the experience. That kind of behavior is unacceptable in any place, especially in a sport that claims to be built on respect. Management needs to take this seriously. No customer should ever be treated this way. Very disappointing and upsetting experience.

This course is worth a ride from Houston. The greens were on the fast side but in great shape. I don’t remember and bad spots. It was apparent they take very good care of the course. Don’t expect to overpower this course with a driver unless you are very accurate. Expect some blind approach shots. (You’ll need gps) The rough is pretty but the ball will sit down in it. Only negative I can think of was the USB plugs on our cart didn’t work. I didn’t have time to warm up but the range looked to be in good shape also. The pro shop was nice and the employees were also. The food was good and the p…
