In summary

Brigantine Golf Links offers a unique links-style layout with scenic views over the bay and marsh, which many players find enjoyable and challenging. However, the course has received criticism for inconsistent maintenance, with issues such as poor greens, unkempt bunkers, and overall wear detracting from the experience. Additionally, some visitors have reported dissatisfaction with customer service and pricing, feeling that the course does not justify its fees compared to other nearby options.

After a round at Brigantine Golf Links, the overall takeaway is mixed. The layout itself is interesting, with a true links-style feel, open terrain, and plenty of wind that keeps things challenging and different from most courses in the area. The views out over the bay and marsh are a nice touch and give it a unique setting. That said, conditions can be inconsistent, especially outside of the greens, and some parts of the course feel a bit worn compared to what you might expect. It’s still a fun place to play, especially if you enjoy a links-style round, but it doesn’t quite match the overall…

Never will go back. Had 2 tee times for a group of eight for 9:15. The person at the pro shop seemed as if we were bothering him, didn't want to get us our carts out of the barn and stated that if we play 1,3 or 9 holes no rain checks will be issued. If I could I would give them zero stars. Owner lost $360..

We drove about 80 miles to get here three weeks ago. The condition of the greens on this golf course is terrible. It’s full of blemishes and damage, making it unpleasant to putt on. It seems like they don’t take proper care of the course at all, and we got frustrated while playing 18 holes. Considering the poor maintenance, the green fee is unreasonably expensive. We have no desire to come back again.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about.. I’m from MA. and in Atlantic City for a wedding, jumped into a 4 some this morning at 8am, (10/5) Clubhouse staff was great, bar staff was great and bar area was a perfect atmosphere. Course was in good shape, would be even better with a little more TLC but for those reviews complaining, don’t listen to them. Solid 18 hole course on the water in a great sea coast community. Not sure when I’ll be back in AC but will def play again if I am. I play a lot of private courses back home and for a public course right outside of AC it’s def a great track to…

I played Brigantine Golf Course recently and was shocked at how far it’s fallen off. Almost every bunker was either completely bare or filled with rocks—totally unplayable. The fairways and approach areas were patchy and dead in many spots, and to top it off, some greens had oil stains from a leaking mower. Sprinklers randomly went off while we were standing on a tee box and soaked us, which was just the cherry on top. Even saw kids running around on the back nine like it was a public park. This course was semi-decent last year, but it’s in terrible shape now. For nearly $100 a round, it’s a…

Overpriced dog track. You are better off going to play one of the many other great courses within 20 min for not much more $. This place is only good for a cheaper afternoon rate round and if you’re already on the island. DO NOT travel here for this course. It is tightly lined with houses the entire way around and simply not kept in great shape. It should be clear that this review is based on price and course conditions. If they charged 50 for morning weekend and 25 afternoon, this review would be different. That is what this place is worth. Drop your prices and people may start playing this…

This is the worst golf course I've ever been to. Our tee time was around 1 p.m., and we were about to hit our second tee from the first hole, but an office worker came out and urged us to hurry. He then said there were 200 people waiting after us and got really rude. So we stopped playing and just putted on the green and finished. When we got to the second hole, the person in front of us was on the second green, and he was waiting to tee off. So I asked the employee, and that employee was also rude and told me to hurry up. I couldn't understand it. I felt so insulted, so I stopped playing and…

Played Labor Day Monday of 2021. It was a disgrace that this course was open and they were charging holiday rates of $85 per person to play. It was clearly apparent that it was all about making money and not the enjoyment of the golfer. The course had so much standing water and the grass had not been cut in weeks. The fairways were lakes and there were huge puddles on many greens. The rough was calf high and was a swamp. If you had the misfortune of hitting the rough you lost the ball. It was cart path only but you couldn’t get to your ball without walking through a huge puddle, and it wasn’t…

Really disappointing experience that started walking right into the club house. Greeted by a very irritated cashier with no friendly welcome. While trying to enjoy the weekend with my friends, we were separated with 2 tee times. The solo player with us took multiple "redo's" and seemed to be a complete beginner who slowed down the pace to a 3 hour 9 hole finish time. While trying to get the group together, the cashier constantly told us no without even trying to listen to us ( one person just wanted to drive the golf cart and didn't play but still had to pay the 120$ cover). While we tried to…

The course and the city are a wonderful beautiful place to get away for a weekend. Most of the staff was very nice. That said the guy I assume was the manager at the pro shop was EXTREMELY rude and uninviting. Had a bad attitude from the moment we walked in. After reading some of these reviews I guess he has given a lot of other people trouble too. Great course just avoid the staff I guess. whoever runs the course might want to look into this guys behavior. Easily would have given this at least 4 stars if not for him.

Tony great guy, the only positive of this place. Walk in the pro shop no greeting or anything. Tee boxes are 50/50 fairways are garbage. Greens decent super slow. Bring bug spray flies everywhere. Overall the course is probably worth 50$ a round. Will not coming back here again for 100$ absurd. The “Ranger” has no idea what’s going on lets people do whatever they want. Played the front 9 in 1.5 hours. Played the back in over 3. But shoutout Tony good guy from NY
