Guests frequently commend the food quality and overall experience. However, some golfers have expressed concerns about the condition of the greens and maintenance issues, which they feel detract from the course's overall appeal.

We booked BHP for our wedding and the venue was SO workable with absolutely everything we asked for and wanted. The staff on the day of was unbelievable!! All so kind, all looked so happy to be there and all were wildly attentive and got us anything we needed. Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish and they met our every request. The food options were amazing, which we’ve heard repeatedly from our guests, were all incredible. I truly don’t have a single complaint. We are SO happy with our experience and can’t thank BHP for being part of all the magic on such a special day! What a beau…

I had my wedding here on 10/3/25. Tara & Sarah were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process! Not only were they awesome to work with, but the pricing is amazing as well as the food. Our guests were raving about how great not only the food but also the customer service was. Every question we had about anything to do with the wedding instantly Tara answered any questions & accommodated us to the best of her ability. Would absolutely recommend Blue Heron Pines to anyone who is looking for an amazing venue to have their wedding at!!!! Not only is the space beautiful, but everything is exe…

Our dream wedding venue. BHP was the first and only venue we looked at. I wanted rustic, indoor/outdoor and NO CARPET (lol). Tara & Sarah answered every question & panic for 2 years with no hesitation. On our wedding day, everyone was on point, were so so nice & made sure we had the most perfect day. The food was great, the dessert room was to die for & the staff were all 10/10. I could not recommend this venue enough. I loved every second of planning my wedding with them and I still dream about our special day.

Blue Heron Pines remains one of the top public golf courses near Atlantic City for layout, amenities, and hospitality. While the green conditions were disappointing this time, everything else—from the clubhouse to pace of play—delivered a great experience. With a return visit, there’s definitely more to enjoy here. 1. Course Layout: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Among the multiple courses near Atlantic City, this layout stands out as one of the top. It’s not overly difficult, but it’s well-designed, interesting, and fun to play. 2. Tee Box Condition: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Tee boxes were generally well-kept. A few…

As a homeowner on the course and a long-time member, it pains me to say this is by far the worst shape Blue Heron Pines has ever been in. My group and I each pay over $4,500 annually for our membership, and the product we’re getting this year is awful. All 18 greens have patchy dead grass—nothing but dirt and dust. The superintendent, who is rarely seen and comes off as miserable when he is, lost every green on the course, and there’s been zero accountability from anyone in management. The excuse? “The weather.” Meanwhile, other local courses are in spectacular condition, which completely dis…

When my husband and I were looking for wedding venues, we were very specific on what we wanted. We really wanted something outdoors for the ceremony and a beautiful reception hall that did not give off that "Ballroom" look. We hated chandeliers and let me tell you, it was difficult to find a venue in NJ without a chandelier. When we first toured Blue Heron Pines, we instantly fell in love. We immediately knew that this was the spot we wanted to get married in. It was exactly what we wanted but the only hesitation we had was that our family lived about an hour away from it. After going back an…

Each staff member made every step in planning the baby shower run so smoothly. There was never a time where we had to search for someone to assist. Staff eagerly greeted everyone setting up and constantly followed up if there was anything additional needed. The room is elegant and spacious for any occasion.

What a great place! Friendly staff with excellent food. The golf course was in great shape and the greens were top notch. Would 100 percent recommend to anyone looking for a foursome or a place to host an outing. Their event space looked beautiful as well.

Went to a wedding this past weekend. The venue its self is very nice however the area for cocktail was very small for the amount of people there. The food during the reception was on the colder side or was uncooked.

Wow! Where do I begin?? Tara was amazing to work with for our wedding. From our tour to our final meeting, she is kind, professional, knowledgeable, personable, and makes sure everyone’s needs are met and questions are answered! She made the process easy and stress free. What an incredible experience we had. I felt so taken care of from the moment we stepped off the bus. All my needs were met, above and beyond! Donna was an amazing coordinator. She kept a constant check on myself and the bridal party making sure we were all doing well. She was kind enough to package up some dinner, cake, and d…
