In summary

Broadlands Golf Club is praised for its beautiful course layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both casual rounds and organized outings. However, many visitors have expressed frustration with the slow pace of play, especially on weekends, and some have encountered issues with management and service, which can detract from the overall experience. Despite these challenges, the course's scenic views and challenging design continue to draw golfers back.

Broadlands Golf Course is beautiful course and great designed couse. I played there for the first time Sept 28th. Highly recommend a little tricky to get to but totally worth it. I was greeted with a hello when dropping clubs off, club house and when returning from round. Placement of the ball off the tee can be vital risk/reward but some holes its grip and rip like the drivable hole number 11. Definitely will be back.

This is a wonderful golf course. Great layout. Greens are well maintained. Staff usually friendly. So why 2 stars? Because they host lots of outings and they NEVER tell you there is an outing when you book your tee time. Pace of play today was 3 holes in an hour, or a 6 hour round. We quit and requested a refund, which they obliged, but our plans for a lovely day of golf were blown up. If they had just told us about the outing, we could have played elsewhere and enjoyed a beautiful day. Instead, I am still fuming while sitting back in my office! :-( Please change your policy!!!!!!

We hold our association golf outing here each year. They do an excellent job with organization, food, drinks, the space to hold our meeting afterwards. The staff is great, the course is always well taken care of. It's a fun course.

Solid golf course. Very good routing. Holes have variety and they are very fun to play. Trouble is not as close as it looks in most cases. Last 5 holes are the best. Conditions were ok, some recent rain gave us soft conditions. Need to manage cart paths better, a lot of damage around greens. Beautiful views on a lot of holes. Homes are not too close to holes too. Greens were not cut was the big issue, no excuse for it, should have taken $10 off green fees. Played in 4:39 minutes, no ranger to keep groups moving. Yes it was a packed course, but you have to manage round times.

Pace of play made for a long delays. Made what should have been a nice outing into one of the worst. All four of us will not be back. Read other reviews with same issue. Timekeeper needs to do a better job - too bad, beautiful course otherwise.

Very well kept up. Greens are currently fast due to recent aeration and sanding. Will definitely be back.

Amazing course. People matched up with were super patient. Knuckleheads in front of us were scolded by ranger. People behind were respectful. All around great time. 2nd 18 hole ive ever done and well worth it.

Nice course, but weekend pace of play is 5+ hours. We are sitting on 10th hole now 2 hrs 50 min into the round with 4 foresomes either on the hole or waiting to tee. They told us the back 9 would go quicker (because some of the groups in front of us quit because of slow pace of play)

I play here 30 times a year. You cannot beat the price for a course this good. Adding photos from Aug 2022.

Awesome course. Really great layout and course design, conditions, and overall facilities. However, I played today and the pace of play was atrocious. We had a 3:32 tee time and upon arriving we were told they were "18 minutes behind". We teed off around 3:50 and did not finish our round until 8:30. Every hole had at least one group waiting on the tee box. For a solid course with great management, 18 holes should not take 5 hours out of someone's day. Rangers may as well not be employed at this course if this is the pace.

Had a great outing with two groups. Course was well taken care of. Range was a little rough but it’s later in the season. Starter was cool about us doing a little tie breaker at the end, which was awesome of him. Definitely will plan to come back.

Fairways are in great condition. Tee boxes could be better. If you play here plan for a 5 hour round.
