Absolutely loved the course. What a fun experience. Layout was tremendous and greens were fast for October. Highly recommend!

Awesome new challenge for beginners. Lots of difficult holes with blind tee shots. Lots of history. Friendly Ranger and staff!

Golfer there in mid October of 2025. Really cool course. 9 holes of great greens and diverse terrain. Oldest course in WI. Founded in 1893. Ranked #23 for nine hole courses in the WORLD (by Golf Magazine). Go there. It is worth the visit. I will definitely go again.

It's fine. Tee boxes varied significantly in quality. Pace of play way not addressed. It was not good. Some of the holes were interesting...some good some not so good. On the positive the fairways were very good and the rough was ...rough. It wasn't unfair it was a challenge. Liked it.

We loved this golf course! It was in good condition, no bad lies in the fairways. The greens were smoothe, medium speed. They do have some severe contours in places, requiring some imagination on chips and pitch shots. This course was fun to play. The atmosphere was relaxed and the entire staff wasfriendly and cheerful. We will come back for sure!

They don’t build them like this anymore. Amazing family-owned/run course. Walker friendly. Short of Lawsonia you won’t greens these anywhere for price. A course for the purist. No question I will be back

20$ for a spotted cow and a shot of jaymo?! watched the bartender asked the owner(?) the cost of jaymo only to hear her say she didn't know... Bring your own?

I booked for four guests, my dad, sister, cousin and myself. This was a late father's day golf outing. We were having a great time until the ranger came and said we need to hurry up because there were people behind us. Now my sister and cousin have played one time in the last 12years so they were not great but not horrible either. I told the ranger the team ahead of us did not have carts and had to walk to their ball each hit. I did not think it was proper etiquette to start playing while there were still walking/playing in the middle of the fairway, he said ok just hurry up. We were not drink…

Such a cozy and relaxing place to play 9 amazing holes! Yes, the volcano hole stands out and is amazing but the rest of the holes offer plenty of fun. Course is in great shape and has a “cute” and wonderful throwback of a clubhouse. Crazy little drive in where the clubhouse is hidden behind many little cottages. Highly recommend! Only $38 for two people with cart for 9 holes!

So glad I moved closer to this beatiful course, my new go to for a quick 9 after work. Greens and fairways are in amazing condition this year. You don't see courses with this much personality often. Definitely worth driving out of your way a bit.
