In summary

Buffalo Tournament Club receives mixed reviews, with visitors appreciating the open and forgiving layout, as well as the friendly service at the on-site restaurant, Flavor. However, many express dissatisfaction with the course's condition, citing issues with the greens and cart paths, and consider it overpriced compared to other local options. Additionally, there are frequent complaints about slow pace of play and management's handling of customer service issues.

Costs so much for so little. The course is in horrible condition- which is totally fine as long the price reflects this. The municipal courses in the area are in much better condition and are a legitimate fraction of the price. The tee boxes didn’t have tee distances or tee signs. The pace of play will consume your entire day. This course has potential to either be an affordable cow pasture or a dignified golf course with good conditions and a maintained course. Unfortunately, they choose to be neither. A realistic weekend price should be $23 to walk and $40 to ride for the condition and pace…

This course will always have last minute tee times because its everyone's last resort. You can play diamond hawk for 4$ more. $69 for 18 is insane!!!! I only play here when there are no other options.

Course is not as bad as the reviews say. I would say its a little better than Audubon and Grover but worse than Deerwood. Definitely worse than the better courses like Ivy Ridge, Harvest, Diamond Hawk which are in the area. I can see why people give it so many bad reviews as it's priced the same as the better courses in Buffalo but is below average making it extremely overpriced. Layout is very forgiving and open so you won’t lose too many balls. Still has a few dog holes in a few trees, so it doesn’t feel like an open field like Audubon. Has a range. Course conditions are a little below aver…

Extremely disappointed. Played on May 26th in the morning after booking and paying online. It was extremely foggy and the Pro Shop wouldn't budge on weather/conditions. Had us tee off when you couldn't see 50 feet in front of you - as you can see in the pictures below. This was for the entire round. When I went back in after our round was complete (it wasn't even golf because you couldn't see the hole, your ball, a possible group in front of you, etc.) and asked for some level of compensation, the guy at the desk laughed at me and said "I'm on camera in here, I can't do anything." I wasn't ev…

James the bartender and waiter greeted us with open arms and a delightful demeanor. He gave us suggestions for our meal and was very pleasant. The food came out quickly and correct. Everything was delicious. We will definitely go back to try other items. They have discounted specials daily and appear very good. FLAVORS is located right at the golf course. 2 year old building ,so it's nice and clean. Don't pass this up. It's definitely worth a try.

The green fees for 9 holes are the same as the over priced cost for 18 holes ??? Greens are in awful shape. Way over priced plus the pace of play is extremely slow. For the price I could play many other courses that are far better than this place. No money put into the course in 10 years …. Never again

I’m writing to express my disappointment following my recent round at your course. My tee time was at 8:52 AM, but by 11:40 AM, my group had only completed 9 holes. The group of three ahead of us was moving very slowly and created a significant backup, affecting not only our group but at least three groups behind us. We raised the issue with the course marshal, but unfortunately, no action was taken to address the slow pace of play. After returning to the clubhouse, we inquired about a rain check or some form of accommodation, given that we were unable to complete our round in a reasonable am…

This place is actually the worst golf course I have literally ever played in my life with the worst management I have ever seen in my life. I called a head of time to find out if my girlfriend could ride a long with me and not play. They said on phone she would just have to pay the cart fee which is what any other course I’ve done that at has done. We get there that day and they charge her for a full 18 she doesn’t even own clubs and said they never told me that on the phone. Not to mention I get charged $64 to play one of the worst maintained and slowest golf courses in my life. Never coming…

I would never go to Buffalo Tournament Club again…we had a Tee time for Sunday, April 27th and they so overbooked that they had no carts available and was backed up 10 deep on the 1st hole. Of course they didn’t tell us before they took our $110 dollars. We waited over 15 minutes just for a cart and none in sight. When I asked for a refund they said they don’t give refunds. Not even a rain check. When I asked to speak to a manager they said he isn’t in today. When I called back the next day to speak with a manager, unsurprisingly not available as well. If you have a Tee time you shouldn’t have…

What a grand weekend at Buffalo Tournament Club! Largest and cleanest greens in Northern NY! Great restaurant in the clubhouse called Flavor! The beef weck is to die for! A must visit and worth the trip for me from NJ!

I have been playing this course since it opened. It’s current condition is close to the best it’s been. The layout is good and very challenging in spots. Clubhouse is looking great and the restaurant(Flavors) is very good. Changing a few pin positions, utilizing those huge nice greens could make a big difference.

This place is a complete joke and completely u respectable. They stole $128 from me. I tried booking a tee time 14 hours before the tee time I booked, which was meant to be for the following Sunday. They didn’t answer calls so I could cancel my tee time shortly after I booked it. Why is no one answering at 7pm on a Saturday? So I let it slide cause no one answered and I couldn’t cancel. 4 days later I get an email that my card was charged $128 for skipping a tee time, a tee time I tried canceling but they don’t answer their phones, or call back. I called the club and requested a refund on the…
