In summary

Burning Tree Golf & Country Club, now known as Bee Tee, is appreciated for its challenging layout and fast greens, with some visitors noting improvements in course conditions and friendly staff. However, recurring issues include inconsistent maintenance, particularly with tee boxes and fairways, and slow pace of play, sometimes exacerbated by management decisions. Additionally, some guests have experienced discrepancies in pricing and customer service concerns.

Oof! From Private to Abandoned? I can only imagine what this course was like when it was private. Comparable to Maple Lane or Warfield Greens. Overgrown. Jungle-like. Tee boxes were rough. Traps were shallow and had weeds. Some fairways and greens were decently maintained.

In horrible shape for $60 UPDATE may 15, 2025: gave this course another try. Insane how much of a difference it was this time around. Would highly recommend. Only a couple of greens were in eh shape but still playable. You can tell they are trying to put in more work to make the track better. Only downside is the shit leagues they have during weekdays sometimes you’ll get stuck behind. They’ll get on all fours to line up a ball and 3 putt.

Nice course layout. Fairways and most greens were in good condition. There were some areas that looked like they were flooded from storms and dried out. Clubhouse is nice. Good pace of play. Course could use better signage for people who haven't been there before.

Nice course! Staff was awful...at least the guy grooming the traps. Seemed to follow me from hole to hole and wouldn't let me play through...I had to wait for him...very irritating!

Bee Tee is a very unique golf course and will test your strategy on club selection for each hole. Not an easy course and a good challenge to those who are up for it. Greens are fast and the fairways are plush. Staff are great too!

Beautiful location with great possibilities to make this a 5 star course, BUT, the fairways, greens, and surrounding areas (i.e. ponds, etc) are in very rough shape and need attention. Maybe I am critical of its condition based on when this course was private and in great shape. Makes us wonder if the owners are just hanging on until this property becomes sold at a high $$$ and developed as residential. I hope that isn't the case as we need recreational green space like this.

I went to this course on a Saturday and booked the tee time the day before on a Friday. When I called the course to book, I was told $49 for 18 and a cart. Whatever, not the largest price and expected for a weekend round of golf. Also cross referenced the tee times and price before I called on golf now and it was $49. So I arrive to my round, and to my surprise I'm told "$62 for the round". I informed them I was told $49 and it said the same on golf now, I was told "Must have been a new person on the phone". Now is a $13 price difference the end of the world? No. But it is concerning if they'r…

Please read the reviews before going here. I've golfed lots of places and this, by far, is the worst one I've ever been. Fairways are torn up, tee boxes are trash and greens full of ball marks.. not every green but way more than acceptable. And 63 dollars? Come on..

If you’re looking for a great time and a great course in Macomb, this is your place. Bee Tee’s is by far the best of the 3 courses along the 2 mile stretch between 21 & 23 Mile Rd., just west of North Avenue. Bee Tee golf course is challenging, yet scorable. The layout is such that offers a mix of both open and tight shots, requiring some precision at times which helps make this course as good as it is. There’s a few holes that need some love in the fairways (due to the rising river after heavy rain) but don’t let that deter you. The greens make up for it once you land safely. They roll true &…

Was there Sunday morning, first time in a long time. The course was fun and in nice shape! The ranger helped my group out when we got turned around. He pointed us in the right direction. The pro shop manager (I believe the gentleman was wearing a grey pull over) gave us a couple food suggestions at the turn and the very nice girl behind the counter was excited to show us. We ended up ordering 3 or 4 different things. Very nice hospitality all around from the staff. 5/5 plan on going again.

The course is ok. Greens are nice, tee boxes are bad. The real problem is the idiotic management. They put a group of 12, 2 six sums in front of us on the back 9. Almost 3 hours for 9 holes. Management told us to deal with it on our own.

Bee Tee was a private golf club and is now public. The course suffered a flood and had not recovered. The greens are fast and the tee boxes are decent. The overall value is not outstanding. I would recommend this place but you should wait until next year when the fairways are better
