In summary

Rammler Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, reasonable rates, and dynamic course layout, which offers a variety of holes and challenges for golfers of all skill levels. The club features a full-service bar and grill, enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the course's condition, particularly after rain, with issues such as muddy areas, patchy greens, and slow pace of play occasionally detracting from the experience.

Decent course with reasonable rates. I give it 4 stars based on the overall experience and value. This isn't like a resort course so you have to weigh the green fees, shape and friendliness of course workers to determine the value. Course has a good variety of holes and some nice looks. If you're hitting the driver decent the course plays short. The pace of play is usually decent but we've had some days where a group or two will be very slow. When this happens they need a ranger to get them moving quicker and unfortunately the course usually isn't too good about speeding slow groups up.. Som…

Beautiful golf course! Twilight is only $23 which was very reasonable, and the wait was short. There was a practice course that we were able to use in the mean time, or they also have a full service bar/grill. As a beginner golfer, this was a great course to get started with and everyone was very easygoing. Definitely recommend Rammler!

I've played Rammler for 30 years and always in the past enjoyed the course conditions. Today was different. Worst conditions, I have seen at the course. Almost all greens had dry patches on them. T-boxes in some cases were dirt stations. Fairways were patchy green at best. It may have flooded earlier this year but that is no excuse for all 18 holes that were bad. Also, they have filled in a lot of sand bunkers and made them grass bunkers. It is basically now playing like Maple Lane. I won't go back anytime soon. Owners or maintenance superintendent, what the heck?

I paid for 18 and left after 8, I’ve played rammler over 50 times. This was the worst ive ever seen the course, u get punished for being in the fairway. Sorry excuse for a Tee box, so atrocious. Will never go back, ever.

I completely understand they get flooding because they’re in the middle of the river but definitely not worth $55 for 18 holes and a cart with how everything looks out there Great prices for beer and their brats are really good. They have a great menu.

Pleasantly surprised to find the links playable after only a couple days after a major rain event. Thought for sure we would be using canoes rather than carts after that deluge. The course was tidy & well kept w/ little to no residual soggyness in the low spots or swales.

Can't go wrong for the money. This course is well taken care of and very dynamic. I love the course layout, a lot of different looks. This has become a frequent spot for me and my buddies. Great bar and cart service as well.

I am not picky with my golf courses but Golfing here today, it was absolutely terrible conditions. It is not worth the price. Feels like you’re golfing in a swamp. I would recommend taking your talents elsewhere.

Great course, if I didn't suck at golf.

Played 8/14/2025. Conditions were rough. Numerous dirt patches on fairways. some putting surfaces lined with ball marks. Cracks on the green making putting impossible unless you move your ball. Had ranger yell at my two-some for pace of play. We were playing on a Thursday and probably 90 minutes in to our round and starting hole 7. We had people holding us up ahead! No one was behind us. Ranger turned right back around and neglected to talk to group ahead of us. Very clueless. I live within 15 minutes of course but very unlikely I will return. I dont believe I have thought that of another cou…

Super long par 4 and fives. If you don't have good aim, you will lose a lot of balls in the Clinton river. It winds all the way through this place.

The greens are fast but even and friendly for golfers of all skill levels , but a little over priced for course condition.
