In summary

Camisle Golf Club receives mixed reviews, with many praising the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the course's suitability for beginners and those looking for a casual, stress-free round. However, several visitors express dissatisfaction with the course's condition, citing poorly maintained greens and facilities, and some feel the pricing does not reflect the quality offered. While some appreciate the challenging layout, others suggest that the course is better suited for first-time golfers or those seeking a quick practice round.

This ⛳ golf course was very run down and not well maintained. It is a great course for beginners I suppose, as it is not very challenging. The greens were full of weeds, this was the most unkept golf course I have ever seen! Power carts were in good working order, however cart paths were almost none existent. There is no liquor license at this course, so be prepared for that! 😉

Not sure how some people are giving a 5 star reviews or if they were at a different course than us lol I’m giving 2 stars only because the staff was very friendly and helpful. The state of facilities and course were horrible for the prices they charge, the golf carts were run down and one didn’t even work at all. The putting surfaces were deteriorated and badly maintained as well. I would only pay half the price to golf there but that’s it.

This course is great! Played a foursome here and had a blast. The course was surprisingly challenging and the greens were well maintained. Some of the greens were a bit dry but nothing out of the ordinary. Prices were also reasonable, and staff was extremely friendly.

Very overpriced for quality of course. $80 for 18 and a cart (9 repeated twice). The tee boxes and greens especially are god-awful with your ball bouncing around through holes and weeds. Price point should be $40-$50

Would never play here again. The greens were a disaster. Staff were friendly so I feel bad leaving this s review. It's mainly on the course conditions. Greens were unplayable.

If you're just a casual golfer looking to play somewhere with your buddies last minute, this place is just fine. People are saying how rude the staff is and just giving 1 or 2 stars... get over yourselves they were very easy to deal with and not rude at all. I'll admit the greens and fairways need some work but overall not a bad experience whatsoever.

Recently visited Camisle for a quick 9, the grass was cut and well maintained, the course was pretty and the gentleman at the shop was really nice and helpful. You will not find a better course for the price. Will certainly be back

Half a star would be gratuitous, but I never looked at the reviews before booking my time. The facilities were delapidated, severely out dated, and all around embarassing. Chaotic, anxiety inducing experience from the second you walk past the abandoned restaurant that the Goonies movie was filmed at, to the second you leave the unjustifiably over priced pro shop. Every garbage can in the place was tipped over, and every tree line was littered with garbage. There is no restaurant, no drink carts, and no llbo as advertised, all over the place. Truly delivers a post apocalyptic type vibe. The t…

I don’t like giving poor reviews but I feel this needs one. A couple things to note before booking your tee time… The course is in very bad shape. If you intend to use a tee on the blocks, bring a hammer. No putter required. The greens are hard as a rock and cut to what you would expect the fairway or fringe to be cut at. The tee blocks and fairway are unidentifiable as it is not cut out from the rough. No bunkers on site. The course is best suited for first timers or a course to teach your kids on. It is what it is. I wouldn’t play here with any expectation of it looking anything like other…

I used to play here frequently ten years ago and I loved it. It had rustic charm. I had two kids and stopped playing golf but returned recently and was shocked at how the buildings are falling apart. The food area seemed to be closed and the entire vibe was one of a place that’s going to sell soon. I wouldn’t be surprised if a Quarry company grabs it but it saddens me because I hate being teamed up with strangers when I play with my husband and this place never does that. We drive 45 min to play here just to have our alone time while playing a round. I hope they can fix it up and get the reven…

Honest review here. I've played here on and off for the last 5 years. Its not going to be comparable to other courses in the area. That being said, the new grounds crew this year have turned it into a playable course again. Greens certainly aren't pristine, but fairways and boxes are now properly cut to length. Its a great place for a stress free round or to bring out newer golfers. If you haven't been in the last 2 years, I would give it another chance, I have definitely been impressed with the progress this year.

For the price, this is a nice place to play. Nothing fancy, but fun. It's a challenging course that forces you to make good shots on almost every hole. When you get out onto a course with wider fairways you realize how much Camisle forced you to be a little more precise. Keep expectations low here and you'll have fun. Would I play here if I was really good at golf and cared about all the small things? Probably not. However, I do like it.
