In summary

Tyandaga Municipal Golf Course is generally appreciated for its friendly and helpful staff, scenic setting, and fair pricing, especially with a cart. The course offers a mix of challenging and easier holes, making it enjoyable for various skill levels. However, some visitors have noted issues such as slow pace of play, uneven tee boxes, and areas needing maintenance, particularly after rain. Additionally, the course layout can be confusing due to ongoing construction, and the lack of transparency regarding cart policies has been a point of frustration for some golfers.

Nice course, the cart paths are pretty rough but decent if you're cautious. The greens were well kept, and the pace of golfers was on point. There was no beverage cart on this day, but the club house had ice bags for your drinks.

Plays extremely slow, starter did not go by booking times, played back to back every hole. Started at 2pm and we didn't even finish 18 before they kicked dus off as it was getting dark. So many much better courses around.

The staff at Tyandaga are great and really friendly. The course itself is just okay and not worth the price in my opinion. There are better options nearby with nicer conditions. Uneven tee boxes were frustrating, which is something you’d expect any level of course to maintain. Would only play again if everything else local is booked up

Great course for money. Very challenging for double handicap city needs to send more funding for better up keep. Friendly staff which matters.

Came to this course before which allowed me to play with carts before, however most recently was denied due to not being the age of 21. (G license holder btw) That is perfectly calm and normal but atleast let the golfers know when they make the booking over the phone. The disappointment in getting there for the booking and knowing you pay for 18 holes just to walk the entire course is frustrating. The last minute change up with no carts also does not allow a group to finish the full 18 holes which they payed for. Teeing off at 4:50 with carts would have. All this would have been avoided if thi…

Used to be a decent short but challenging course because of the greens.Nothing more than a pitch and putt now 7 par 3s what a shame

The pros: 1. The price is fair with a cart 2. The course is fun for the most part very scoreable (some harder narrow holes) 3. The volunteers who attend to the course are very nice and do a fantastic job 4. Conditions are not bad for the price The cons: 1. The course layout is a work in progress (need a cart for the current routing between holes) 2. Greens are slow but fair 3. Golf Canada needs to be re-routed to follow the current layout

Fun course that offers a unique challenge and fast greens. Very friendly staff. Not the best maintained course in some parts but overall well worth it value wise.

Not a bad price for 18 and a cart. Very hilly in some parts and can't see if people are ahead of you. Holes are very close to eachother and can easily hit someone if you have a bad slice. Update: DO NOT PLAY HERE WHEN IT HAS CONSISTENTLY RAINED, course becomes a swamp. Also should probably tell people in advanced that power carts are a no go.

Not a very well kept course, half the tee boxes are dirt with no grass. Use to be a way nicer course but has gone down hill. Save your money and go elsewhere. 2 stars is being generous.
