In summary

Lowville Heights Golf Club is praised for its beautiful views, challenging layout with significant elevation changes, and well-maintained course conditions. Many visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, particularly in the pro shop and restaurant. However, there are recurring complaints about customer service, particularly involving the marshal and pro shop staff, as well as issues with slow pace of play and closely scheduled tee times.

What an Awesome Day! I Played today with my wife, brother and friend. Pulled in and was greeted with a smile at the pro shop. Checked in and warmed up at the putting green and was greeted by the starter with another huge smile and introduction about the course. He was extremely friendly and gave us some geographical information about the area which I thought was great. He helped us delay our tee time as my brother was running late but he timed it perfectly with the other groups. The course was in excellent condition for being so hot and dry all summer. Everyone was extremely friendly at this c…

Recently played this course, it’s in great shape. Everyone from the pro shop to the starter to the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. I wanted to personally thank Kathleen for her exceptional service in the restaurant. Her recommendations for food and drinks made our dining experience great.

This course is a great challenge as far as golf courses go. Also a great way to lose a pound or two if you walk it. Not recommended for the weak of heart. Great views of escarpment country. Not a flat lie to be found. Fairways won't reward great drives, and greens in reg aren't a guarantee of a par. It'll keep you guessing for every lie. Fast greens.

It is a very good place, very few ponds but up and down hill way. It is challenge as lots of greens are in higher platform which is hard to manage, but, you will feel fun and wants to be back again.

Very beautiful course with lots of elevation changes, results in a very fun and unique golf course to play. Proshop staff and restaurant staff were amazing and very welcoming as they helped us with everything needed. Golf course was in excellent condition with greens rolling pure. The cart girl served us ice cold beverages at an affordable price making the whole experience fantastic!

As usual..it is amazing! This is a gorgeous course with a good flow. Challenging holes but not the kind that make you want to give up golfing. Everyone working there has been delightful and kind and helpful!

Golf course is in good shape. The Marshal here is a piece of work. Kicked us off hole 17 because he said it was getting dark. The sun hadn’t even set yet…. We can’t finish our round? Paid money to get kicked off a course on hole 17. Last time I’ll come to this course. If I was the owner I would get rid of that marshal. Seems like he’s bad for business based on other reviews.

The course has beautiful views! But unfortunately, at this course you’ll be standing around waiting to play all day. A minimum of 3 sets of 4 players on each hole waiting for their turn! It’s ridiculous. The course is definitely booking tee times too close together! Something needs to be done about the pace of play and tee time bookings!

Hands down one of the worst golf experiences I’ve ever had, and it had nothing to do with the course itself it was the people. The front desk staff were rude, dismissive, and acted like checking in was an inconvenience for them. Zero professionalism, no greeting, no effort to make us feel welcome. The marshal was even worse —instead of being helpful, he was confrontational, rude, and clearly on a power trip. It completely ruined the round. Golf is supposed to be enjoyable, but the customer service here made it frustrating and uncomfortable from start to finish. I’ll never be back, and I wouldn…

I had high hopes for this course based on its layout and condition, but unfortunately, the overall experience was overshadowed by poor customer service. From the start, the staff at the pro shop were dismissive and unfriendly — not exactly the welcome you expect when arriving for a round of golf. During our round, a course marshal followed our group for about three holes constantly telling us to speed up. It really took away from the enjoyment of the round. After our visit, I looked at some of the other reviews and noticed similar complaints about rude behavior from staff and poor treatment…

We had 2 foursomes back to back. One of our friends had a death in the family the night before and could not attend. The rude woman in the pro shop would not accept a death as a valid excuse and said "well everyone has deaths in family and we have a policy so you are paying for this". Terrible customer service with zero empathy. So we paid $96 for a friend who could not make it due to family death. On the the 4th hole tee, the Marshall came up to us and told us to hurry up. We pointed ahead and showed him "there are 2 different groups on the hole in front of us. We cant even tee off yet." He…

Nice course, good views, well maintained. Price on the high side. I recommend playing with a cart on this course given how up and down it is.
