In summary

Cane Creek Golf Club is appreciated for its affordability and friendly staff, with several visitors highlighting the quality of the food at the grill. However, the course condition receives mixed reviews, with some noting improvements in recent years, while others criticize the maintenance of the greens and fairways, citing issues like poor drainage and overgrown areas. Despite these concerns, many find it a good value for the money.

Played today! (FEB 8), course is in terrible condition! Greens? What greens? They are identical to the rough! No possibility they can get this course in playing shape by spring, or even this year! 1 star is to good of a rating!

The course would be a great course to play on if it was maintained. It gets neglected. Not mowed, has weeds growing all over the greens, drainage is terrible, the lady in the pro shop is rude and never answers the phone. The grill is wonderful and food is pretty good. If the pro shop would hire some good employees and add in some items to purchase it could be a good place. The city should show the course some love.

It's cheap and open to the public. You'll usually have no issues teeing off as a walk-in. However on the weekends during the summer you'll need to schedule a tee time at least 24 hours ahead of time in order to guarantee a spot with a cart. It does have a driving range, but it's not in the best shape. It was a great, beautiful, quality course decades ago when the military still owned and operated it. Since then it's changed ownership many times, aged, been under funded, and neglected. Still for the price it's not a bad place to golf.

Well there's no tee boxes no fairways and no greens so take that as you will. The price should just cover the cart because the course sees no love.

Greens and fairways have improved greatly in the past couple of years. Green fees are a good value.

Only reason it’s not getting a 1 star is because the bar staff is amazing

The staff was super nice. The course needs mowed. For the $20 fee, it’s worth it.
