In summary

Canyon Creek Country Club is frequently praised for its beautiful setting, excellent tennis facilities, and attentive staff, making it a popular choice for events and family gatherings. The club offers a range of amenities, including dining and recreational activities, which are generally well-received. However, some visitors have raised concerns about inconsistent dress code enforcement, management behavior, and the condition of certain golf course areas, such as fairways and cart paths. Additionally, issues with communication and coaching consistency in the youth tennis program have been noted.

I was invited as a guest for pool opening day and the bartender was great friendly, attentive, doing her job well. But my visit went downhill pretty quickly when I watched a manager speak to her in a noticeably rude and unprofessional manner, right there in front of guests. I stayed since I had a tab open, and I kept noticing it. Look, I understand it was opening day and things can get hectic but I didn't see him speak to anyone else that way. It was clearly directed at her, and that's just not okay. For a club that's supposed to carry itself at a certain level, that kind of behavior from mana…

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Canyon Creek Country Club this June and I couldn’t recommend them more. We needed to find a venue last minute due to our original plan falling through and Rose was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process from beginning to end. Their meeting space was absolutely gorgeous and Rose perfectly captured the image we had in mind for our event. We took some photos outside and the golf course in the background was stunning. We loved how we could decorate the pre-function area with photos to make our event feel as personalized as po…

Beautiful place and amazing staff. A friend's father's memorial service was held here recently, and we heard nothing but nice things. Big shout out to Sonny! Thank you for all that you do!

I’ve never felt more disrespected or singled out at a golf club in my career. While preparing for the Women’s U.S. Open Qualifier, I was asked to leave mid-practice round simply for wearing a tank top without a collar—despite the fact that multiple women around me were wearing similar (or even less formal) tops with no issue whatsoever. The dress code enforcement was not only inconsistent, it felt blatantly targeted. I expected professionalism and fairness from a course hosting a USGA qualifier. Instead, I was given two options; wear possibly the most hideous over sized polo with stains, and s…

We came in from Louisiana for the USGA Women’s Open Qualifier, excited as always to be back in Texas—a state that has always treated us well through many years of competitive golf. Unfortunately, that streak ended with this experience. During her practice round, my 17-year-old daughter—who was there *alone* preparing for one of the biggest events of her life—was *bullied* by the staff. Despite wearing a Lululemon **golf-specific tank** (common among junior and all female players), the staff *singled her out* to enforce their “collared shirt” rule. Not only was this rule *not posted or enforce…
