I was invited as a guest for pool opening day and the bartender was great friendly, attentive, doing her job well. But my visit went downhill pretty quickly when I watched a manager speak to her in a noticeably rude and unprofessional manner, right there in front of guests. My husband and I had our wedding reception at Canyon Creek Country Club this June and I couldn’t recommend them more. We needed to find a venue last minute due to our original plan falling through and Rose was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process from beginning to end. I’ve never felt more disrespected or singled out at a golf club in my career. While preparing for the Women’s U.S. Open Qualifier, I was asked to leave mid-practice round simply for wearing a tank top without a collar—despite the fact that multiple women around me were wearing similar (or even less formal) tops with no issue whatsoever. We came in from Louisiana for the USGA Women’s Open Qualifier, excited as always to be back in Texas—a state that has always treated us well through many years of competitive golf.
