Canyon Oaks Country Club

Had a really enjoyable time out on the course. Grounds were well maintained, greens rolled nicely, and the staff was very friendly from start to finish. Pace of play was good and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. You can tell they take pride in keeping the course in great shape. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Not only is the course phenomenal, but the service is great. Gabe is one of the best bar tenders around. Always makes sure we have a good time. Hope he stays here for awhile

Beautiful venue with AMAZING staff!! The golf course and clubhouse are beautiful and that’s why my husband and I looked at the venue, but the staff was amazing, helpful, and inviting from the second we stepped foot for a tour. We went for the looks and stayed for the service!!! Stephanie was there by email or phone any time I had the smallest wedding question and her planning services saved me a great deal of stress! Great space with a variety of trails

This was a beautiful venue! We went bvb here for a friends wedding. They definitely put on a beautiful wedding. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The catering was amazing and food delicious. I would recommend to anyone looking for a magical place to be married!.

By far the BEST event location in Chico. We had the pleasure of hosting our office Christmas party here. Stephanie was a pleasure to work with and put together an outstanding package. The day of the event all the staff came out to introduce themselves and that made ALL the difference. Amazing people, amazing location.

Keyola, who was in charge of our event killed it. He was attentive and on top of it! Also, the food was great, and everything flowed well in our event. All technical aspects were well taken care of and everyone had a great time. Canyon Oaks is a great venue to host events!

Golfing here is very fun, the holes are well designed. The food at the clubhouse is delectable as well.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The event coordinator promised for the big day was “gone” the weekend of the wedding and we were not informed until THE DAY OF. So we were running around setting everything up. The bar back was given the brides information folder and did nothing but put tables and chairs out. A beat up, old dance floor that did not fit 150 guest was set up. A “bridal suite” that was only a locker room for the country club and they kept letting golfers walk in and out as we were getting ready. I like golf, but I'm not a real good golfer, with swinging and hitting skills or knowledge of most the rules. So while I definitely appreciate the canyon oaks grounds crew maintaining the greens and fairways, I am not so much appreciative of the rule Nazis' members or marshals who are a little too conscientious of your time. Canyon oaks is a beautiful course and a prized location for events, don't get me wrong!
