My wife and I stayed at the Mclemore for a weekend getaway. Hospitality was incredible! All the restaurants were very good. Everything far exceeded our expectations! I did play golf at the Highlands course. The views were insane. Greens were pure and rolled true. Coach T (Highlands starter) was the best in the game. Every staff member we encountered was very helpful and top tier. We will absolutely be back!

A high end golf resort and community that is perfect for corporate retreats, vacations, and golf trips with friends. Everything is impeccably maintained. There are multiple golf courses to play with amazing cliff top views. The restaurants have superb service, excellent food, and beautiful settings. We rented a new house that was set up well for our group of 8. There is a high end hotel directly on the golf course with an infinity pool situated on the cliff edge. I highly recommend this resort for your next golf trip.

Got to play here on my birthday and was such an awesome experience. Everything from the moment we arrived was great. The bag check guys were super nice, clubhouse attendant was super informing and answered any questions we had. We played the highlands course and was so much fun and a great layout. The course was in great shape with unreal views. Had lunch after our round and was so good. The short par 3 course is some of the most fun I’ve had with my friends since we played till the sun went down. Yes it is a little pricey but definitely worth every cent. Can’t wait to be back and play t…

Great views, some of the best mountain top golf one will find! The property and the amenities were great. Unfortunately, the communication with the package setup and the McLemore team was rough and some things were not followed through on and subsequently covered up and ignored.

I got to the course about an hour and half prior to my tee time. Got checked in and decided to check out the grounds. They had a 6 hole par 3 course called the Cairn. No hole played longer than 85 yards and they said it was on a first come basis. My tee time was at 3:10 so the short course was empty so I played it while the wife walked with me and emjoyed the view. After the short course, I putted for a bit on the huge and very nice practice green. Then went to the range to warm up. They have a members range and a guest range. Balls were Callaway practice balls and the guests used mats to prev…

We stayed in a house on the property for a leadership retreat. We had an incredible experience. We were able to eat at the restaurants each night which was very convenient. The staff was amazing and the amenities are next level. We will definitely be back!

This golf club is much more than just a place to play — it is a complete experience in the middle of a truly spectacular landscape. Located high on a mountain, it offers incredible views that make every moment here special. From the fairways and greens, you can enjoy breathtaking scenery surrounded by forest, fresh air, and a peaceful atmosphere that invites you to fully enjoy the game and the environment. For golf players, this is a wonderful destination. The course is carefully maintained and offers an experience that combines challenge, beauty, and tranquility. Every hole is enjoyable not…

I was able to play McLemore over the fall break, and it was a great experience. This was my second time playing the course, and it still exceeded my expectations like the first time. Some of the truest greens you will ever putt on, very well-manicured tee-green, and several signature holes. 18 receives all the attention, but holes 2 & 3, 6 & 7, and 16/17 are some of my personal favorites. They all have their own distinct beauty that adds to the course. If you are ever in the area, make sure to play the Highland Course at McLemore!

When you stay at a resort that’s almost $400 a night and mandatory paid valet, you’d expect this place to have amazing room service. But what you get is something you’d find at a cafeteria in a mall. Imagine you’re exhausted from a long day of travel and work, the place looks nice and you’re starving. So you order room service and are picturing a white cloth draped over a cart, a nice ceramic plate full of well presented food, a classic metal cover that will soon showcase the amazing food… only to be presented with a black plastic take out container similar to Chinese take out and ketchup in a…

Incredible facilities and restaurant, but pace of play on the golf course is horrendous. No marshal presence or enforcement of basic pace of play. We had a 1pm tee time and by 3:45 had only played 5 holes. Sitting in line with 10 carts backed up on the 6th tee box.

MCLEMORE GOLF RESORT……BEWARE!!! I just recently completed a 3-night two day golf event at McLemore Golf Resort (May 6-9, 2026), and it was awful!! I really did not want to waste my time writing this review, but the experience was so bad, I felt I needed to at least give others a chance to know about this golf scam prior to booking it or going through with it. I had played the Mc Lemore Highlands or Original or whatever they call it now, two years earlier and did not enjoy it. However, it was rainy and cold and paths only and the Keep was new this time so when I was looking for a destination fo…

What a golf course!! It was the perfect balance of score-able holes, gimmicky holes (it’s mountain golf, they should have these holes), and really challenging holes! Views are second to none and staff was incredible. The most amazing part about this course, the fact it took on 3 inches of rain over night and it played like it took a .5 inch. The best putting surfaces you’ll find. Only reason I put 4 stars is because some of the tee boxes need some work and I paid 270 bucks to play and wasn’t notified the back two tee boxes were closed. I’m 1.5 handicap and would’ve have preferred not to play t…
