In summary

Trenton Golf Club receives mixed reviews, with some visitors praising its beautiful scenery, challenging layout, and reasonable pricing. However, many express concerns over poor course maintenance, including issues with greens and fairways, as well as inconsistent customer service and management. The club's recent operational challenges, such as limited amenities and cart availability, also contribute to the varied experiences.

Don’t let the bad reviews spook you from coming to this amazing course. Beautiful scenery, the guy at the start was super nice and respectful, asked us how it was at the turn and then after the round asked us again. This course is pretty well maintained, and has wonderful fairways, and great greens. The girl in the clubhouse was super nice and respectful as well. Prices are great, and the course is well worth the price. I would recommend this course to anyone in the area!

For over 50 dollars this is the worse golfing experience ever. Can’t even putt on the greens. This looks like a run down golf course that has not been managed for years. In the condition it’s in it should be free to play with MAYBE a small cart fee. Service is rude as well. This place needs MAJOR WORK or needs to be shut down

We had a beautiful day to play a round of golf. The course was in decent shape. It's not a 5 star course by any means, but it was definitely worth the 45 minute drive for the price and seclusion we got. We were the first to tee off this morning and didn't see any other golfers until we were finishing up on the back 9. The greens were in good shape visually but not fast by my standards. They were firm and required precision on chipping shots. Expect a lot of dog legs on a lot of the holes and blind shots to go along with those. It's a hilly course with some tight fairways and beautiful scenery.…

Unfortunately the downfall of this course is super sad. Lost their license to sell alcohol, No food, tee box is rough, fairways are rough, the greens have full mounds of sand and are mostly dead patches… tried to play 18 last week and barely got through 3 and certainly had to leave at the turn.

do not play this course under any means necessary. $50 for 18 and makes municipal courses look like PGA Tour courses. Fairways, tee boxes, and fringes are poorly kept and the “greens” is a sarcastic term. STAY AWAY FROM HERE AT ALL COST. Used to be a great course, i don’t know if ownership changed but it’s horrible now.

This place is a great golf course to play. The course is very tricky, greens are in perfect shape. If your looking for a course with no bad spots on the course this place I highly recommend.

Great course with challenging greens. I love the bell you ring at the end of some holes. It provides some spatial awareness with other groups. I understand the need for the dress code. However, my dad was denied access to the course because he had jeans on. It was our first time playing there and I tried to book the tee time online. I got a return email wanting me to change my password. The link didn’t work so I called them to book. After watching my dad warm up on the range and putt for 30 min they decide to tell him 10 min before our tee time that he can’t play. Their excuse was it’s very cl…

Played Trenton golf course Sunday. It was bad . The greens where bad. They have not mowed anything. It not worth paying 49.00 dollars for this course with was one of the best courses around. I would drive up to dogwood hills and pay more to play then Trenton. I will not go back until it is in better shape.

If I could do 0 stars I would. This was by far the worst golf course I have ever seen. There are no fairways, it’s all terrible grass that is basically terrible rough up to the “green”. The greens have no grass on them. It’s not even dead grass, the greens are literal dirt. I could not be paid to play this course ever again. Take the extra drive time or spend the extra money to never come here.

Fun and challenging course. Always enjoy playing this course because it requires you to use all types of golf shots.

$50 to play dirt and rotted greens, no fringe, no maintenance, tee boxes the grass is to long, Every time i’ve played my cart has died, pace of play is awful, no one in staff is even SLIGHTLY knowledgeable about golf. Only positive is good valley views. BTW, no fairway, no rough, only medium length lawn grass.

I am a member. Beautiful, well placed between 2 mtns. This golf club host many charitable tournaments. It is challenging and very rewarding. Jim Halloway is the PRO. He is a very knowledgeable professional. He can help your game if needed. Come give it a go, you might like the friendly people, because I know you will love the course.
