In summary

Sweetens Cove Golf Club is praised for its unique and challenging course layout, with large undulating greens that offer a distinct golfing experience. The atmosphere is described as friendly and laid-back, with staff and amenities enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with the reservation system and occasional slow pace of play due to large groups on the course.

Save your money. Never been to a golf course where you had to hear a history lesson that took an hour and a half before you got to tee off. I used to play this course for $40 before Peyton and his staff bought this place. Used to be maintained with pride. The course was in terrible condition. Do us golf hackers a favor Peyton....don't buy anymore golf courses. I told my friends about this course and it took 2 years to get on it and play. I felt like I needed to pay them back the $100 they each paid for this terrible experience.

This course is awesome. Greens are massive and very undulating. Layout is beautiful! Laid back atmosphere. Only negative, they allowed a group of 7 and a group of 8 to play together. These groups backed the course up. I was not a huge fan of that.

This place is about so much more than golf. It’s a 9 hole loop where you pay one fee for the whole day. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming from the start. I drove up and already felt like I was about to hang out with my best friends even though I was a single showing up for the first time with no idea what to expect. I ended up tagging along with the best group of guys and we played a two team scramble. It was legitimately the most fun I’ve had playing a day of golf. It’s a completely different vibe that can only be experienced on site. I’m glad they got their agronomy repaired and to he…

Probably the most unique and pleasant golf experience I've had east of the Mississippi River. This place is about one thing - great golf with your friends. Literally nothing else. No cart girl, no food, no fluff. They do however have a "shed" with some of the best merch you'll ever find at a public golf course. You could tell no stone was left unturned during the design and construction of this course. The course might look straight forward and simple at first but it's the furthest thing from that. The greens are extremely difficult especially depending on pin placements. 2 pins in each green…

What an experience! High level links style play, extreme slopes and huge 2 pin greens that will challenge any level player. Great for match play, forget the strokes. Great pace of play due to the limited reservations, a must try for any golfer. The food truck is run by a gem of a lady and the food is very good!! Chicken ceasar wrap made my day. Thanks to all involved with this place.

One of the most unique golf experiences I have ever had. I love the course, the people and the atmosphere. Such a fun concept, and executed to perfection! I can’t wait to play again, feel very blessed to be a TN resident only a couple of hours away from one of the best courses anywhere.

This is the most unique golf experience that I've ever had. Laid back and well worth the coin. Greens are impossible but SO fun. Match play is the only way to play!!! One of the most fun days of playing golf... 45 holes and left exhausted but it was well worth it. Would recommend to anyone that wants a Golf experience. Score was irrelevant. LOL :)

If you are looking for a truly unique golf experience, look no further than Sweetens. From the course to the staff, everything is set up to make sure you and your group have an amazing day of golf. The course offers something new on every hole. From the wild redan green on 9 to the blind Par 3 tee shot on 4 and everything in between, every shot tests your skill and imagination. But the staff and amenities is really what makes the place great. The staff always has something up their sleeves to make your day different and fun. You could spend hours on the practice green alone, and the fire pit,…

I have loved playing this place for years. I have been here 20+ times and have always had a great time and experience. I also play yearly with a group of 20 on the Saturday after Christmas. This year, 24 hours before the tee time they sent an email saying they are putting tarps on the greens at 12:45 due to weather. Mind you the tee time is Saturday and weather will be high of 72 and low of 61. Sundays weather is a high of 73 and low of 43. This was an extreme inconvenience and let down. These tee times were booked 6 months prior and several have made plans for overnight stays.
