In summary

Hidden Valley Golf Course is appreciated for its peaceful setting, affordability, and generally well-maintained greens, making it a pleasant spot for a relaxed round of golf. However, several visitors have reported negative interactions with staff, particularly concerning policies on group sizes and cart usage, which some find overly strict. Additionally, some players have noted issues with course markings and cart conditions, suggesting room for improvement in these areas.

We had a good day on the course. It was my daughter's first-time play a round of golf. We chose to go to Hidden Valley with my brother and nephew to have a laid back round to allow her to play without being rushed.

The course is pretty well kept but we had a bad experience today. There were 4 of us. We stopped by the car to grab a water after our front 9 and were met by a very abrasive and rude lady telling us we had overstayed our welcome. We thought she was joking! There are no tee times though? and we were the only people we saw playing all day. We got there at 9:45 and she said at 12:15 we had stayed to long and we couldn’t play the back 9 without a 20$ fine? We won’t be back, someone needs an attitude adjustment.

Terrible experience. Won’t be returning. We had a party of 6, but only 4 were playing, as a family reunion even, as we have people traveling for work. She told us we were allowed to play with 6 as her “limit” is 5. We told her that was okay and 2 of us would play behind the others, no problem. “We will be watching you”, is what she said after we explained that. After we explained that, we said there were only 4 players and 2 riders and she charged us for everyone. I have personally never been to a course where the rider has to pay, but we were fine with it. She proceeds to have us state our na…

The worst place ever !!! The very rude lady in the clubhouse should not be allowed to step foot on the property … she acts as if everyone is out to beat her out of something, I took my girlfriend as a rider only who has a broke finger and couldn’t play … the only way she could ride was if I paid full price for her as if she was playing… makes me take a cart that has already been used all day.. yes they are electric carts so almost dead … and these carts are very old to begin with and are trashed and covered in mud , seats ripped all to pieces “junk” she said if it dies just call us and we’ll b…

Went once and had no problems. Tried to go today and the woman was very rude. Said we couldn’t play with us having 5 people in our crew and 2 riders. We were even gonna do 2 separate teams just so we could play but she wouldn’t let us. But no one was there!! We even told her that if people are going faster than us, we’d let them pass and she blatantly called us liars. Then called my husband a bully because he was simply explaining to her we wouldn’t hold anyone up. Really not going back.

My favorite place and most relaxing. Bob and Marsha and the whole family and staff are good people! Though some say they would like sand traps, they are expensive and take a lot more maintenance to keep them proper. With the water here they are difficult enough for a duffer like me.

Very easy local par 72. There aren't many hazards through the course. However, the course is in excellent playing condition and the staff are pleasant. Cost effective fun and family friendly.

Might as well played in my pasture behind the house. Play more guessing where is the next hole than playing golf. No holes marked, back 9 is gravel cart path when you can find it. Giving one star because the guy was super nice and also it wouldn’t let me give no star

I am a firm believer that this course could use sand traps. The bail out areas need that extra penalty area. The 8th hole could be firmer though, very soft and just like a MY PILLOW.

No it’s not a Robert Trent Jones course, but it always has been well maintained when I was there and equipment kept up. Nice little course in middle of nowhere.
