Captains Club at Woodfield

We highly recommend Captains Club Golf Course and Event Center! We just had our wedding there this Sunday, and honestly, everything was perfect. The staff was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond—they even helped bustle my dress and made me feel so calm and supported throughout the day. But the food! It was hands down the best wedding food I've ever had. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was, saying they'd never had such good food at a wedding. If you want a flawlessly executed event with amazing food and top-notch service, book Captains Club.

Wow this place was absolutely amazing!!!Lexi, Kerri, and their team really took care of us in ways we couldn’t have imagined. We wanted an estate vibe for our wedding and Captain’s is just that! This place gives you rich mansion wedding aesthetics and we absolutely loved it. The place is beautiful on its own that you don’t need much decoration. Also, the staff is so accommodating and friendly, our families loved them! Our wedding was truly a day to remember and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue!

We had our wedding 06.28.25 at the captains club!! It was an amazing day! The food was great and we got a lot of compliments! The staff was friendly and the venue was gorgeous and clean!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception here and could not be happier with how everything turned out. It's a beautiful venue and the staff is amazing! The food is better than most country clubs you'll find :) Also, Kerri and Madelyn are AMAZING to work with. They truly helped us through the wedding process so much and know how to make sure events run smoothly. If you're thinking of having your wedding here, I highly recommend it! We also golfed their course and it's a very nice one.

My mom and future mother in-law hosted my bridal shower here a few weeks back. I cannot express how incredible the whole team was. Lexi was wonderful to work with leading up to the event and helping with the room layout. The entire staff was attentive and so kind. We did a brunch with an open bar, the bar tenders were quick and the food was all fantastic. Such a perfect space for a private event!

Great experience with hosting out baby shower at this venue! The coordination team was responsive, pleasant and accommodating. Room was bright, updated and clean. Food (we did brunch) was FABULOUS! Highly recommend :)

We attended the Dine in the Dark event and it was amazing. We went with friends to celebrate a birthday and we had such a wonderful evening. The service was excellent from beginning to end. I had a few requests that I wanted to plan ahead of time for the birthday celebrations (have a couple of bottles of wine for the table, sparkler for the birthday boy with dessert, etc.) and Jas was attentive to my every need. Our server Amanda was beyond great! Also, we cannot say enough good things about the food--it was delicious. Thank you for ensuring we had a terrific time!

Having my August wedding at the Captain's Club was a dream! Throughout the entire process Kerri and Lexi were so accommodating. They were always happy to answer my questions or work with my requests. Lexi went over every detail with me prior to the big day and put me at ease with everything that needed to be done going into it. Our wedding at Captains Club was amazing! Allison and Hunter were so helpful to us and we can’t recommend them enough. Even though we’re not from Grand Blanc, we had amazing vendors due to the venues preferred vendor list and Allison even recommended a hair and makeup salon to us as well. On the day of the wedding Hunter was kind enough to hold my moms purse while we walked down the aisle. The food was AMAZING. My son got married here last weekend and everything went smoothly. The venue, food and staff were all great, however; I do have a few suggestions: First, in the bridal suite, it needs some sort of partition so anyone who doesn't feel comfortable getting dressed in front of others has some privacy. Second, while I was using the women's first floor bathroom to change my clothes the lights went out and the room became pitch black while I was in the stall. Terrible food and service!!! Twice we went for trivia night to enjoy some dinner and cocktails with friends. It's a beautiful place but both visits, the food was substandard at best, the drinks were weak and the prices were outrageous. The service is so bad. Can't find a waitress and she we did, she took drunk orders for half the table and then walked away. The trivia lady wasn't very entertaining either. It was just so disappointing. Sadly... we won't be back.
