In summary

Carlowden Country Club is widely praised for its well-maintained and challenging course, with fast and smooth greens, and a layout that offers a mix of open and strategic play across its front and back nine. The staff is generally described as friendly and accommodating, and the club's setting is appreciated for its scenic beauty. While some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional dry fairways, the overall experience is positive, with many appreciating the club's recent improvements and amenities.

It was a fun and challenging course. The greens were in excellent shape and very fast. The boy’s at the check in desk were efficient, but didn’t give you the feeling that you were appreciated for being a customer. The bar service was very friendly. We will be back again when we visit next year

Excellent changes to holes 7 & 8. Hole seven plays much better as a par four instead of par five with the tee box relocation. Hole eight also plays much better as a par five instead of a par four with the tee box relocation. Nice to see continued improvements into a quality golf course.

The course is very challenging, but beautiful. The scenery is amazing. The staff was very friendly, and lunch was great. After the summer we've had, some of the fairways were a little dry, but that's to be expected. Will definitely be visiting again.

Course is in great shape and very challenging. If you use an app to keep score it may be off due to some holes changing.

Carliwden is without doubt on of the finest, family run golf clubs in existence. The greens are immaculately kept and the food is both generous portioned and delicious!. The views over the course in the dining room and bar area are beautiful. With the addituon of 3 wind turbines so close this year, I didn't know what to expect but they're so quiet and almost hypnotic.. I'd guess there are 20-30 of these windmills in the area and anyone who doubts the positives if this type of energy, I encourage you to visit the area. And play a round of golf while youre' there. Highly, highly recommend this c…

We came back for a second visit this season and brought another couple. They were impressed by this course as were we. The course is still in great shape in spite of the drought we've had this season. Fairways were great with more than adequate grass on all holes. Restaurant afterwards was excellent food and great service, very accomodating. My only complaint was that they punched the greens about a week earlier and that made putting not so good. That part was like putting on a bumper pool table. Had I known they punched the greens I would have waited another week to come here, but overall sti…

Worst customer service I have ever been at in 30 years. Had 10 8somes out and refused to let people play through. Who does 8somes at the beginning of the day without telling those behind about it. Waited over 20 minutes per shot. Will never come back

We played Carlowden CC for the first time to check it out and see if it would work to bring 8 guys up next year to play fun match play event and stay at my camp. At 9:00 AM, a twosome played 18 holes in about 3 hours, three groups let us through. The course was very nice and greens were fantastic, very fast and smooth. It rained during the night where the fairways were a little wet, but putting on the greens was not affected. I would recommend playing it.

played twice this past week. what a gem of a golf course. Needs some fairway grass, even might try some bent grass. The greens are perfect. Any faster and hole 18 can't hold a ball with the wind in your face. Thank you.

Vey well maintained and challenging coarse. My favorite coarse in this area. They've made great improvements to both the coarse and clubhouse, and some changes to the driving range. All for the better
