In summary

Castlegar Golf Club & RV Park is highly praised for its well-maintained golf course, scenic setting, and friendly, helpful staff, particularly the campground host. The amenities, including the restaurant and RV park facilities, receive positive feedback for their quality and cleanliness. Some visitors note the lack of sewer hookups at the RV sites and occasional issues with the Wi-Fi, but these do not overshadow the overall positive experience.

As a lifelong prairies golfer, I was in dreamland. The conditions, the elevation change, the scenery were amazing. The staff were so helpful. I complimented all the greenskeepers I could see. Blown away. Can't recommend enough 5 stars.

Bit of a hidden gem. The golf course is in good shape and well looked after. Pricing is reasonable and the restaurant is well above average. The campground is very well maintained, amenities are clean and above average quality Susan is as delightful a camp host as you will ever meet. Lives our stay and hope to be back.

We stayed in the RV park at Castlegar golf and RV for a couple of nights to visit our grandchildren - unfortunately we didn’t have time to golf. This is a nice campground. Staff were really helpful and friendly, the sites are nice and big and clean and it’s very quiet. We didn’t use the washrooms or laundry so I can’t speak to that. We weren’t aware there was no sewer hookup but perhaps I missed seeing that - but just a heads up for anyone else. The Co-op fuel station in Castlegar has a nice sani dump on the side of the building. There is a tap beside the dump for black water and another tap a…

Camping sites were nice but close together. Host was very friendly and helpful. Felt safe and had an enjoyable stay. Got in two rounds of 9 and it was a nice course and the nineteenth hole was great for an evening drink.

I had a tee time that was going be just on time for, or late even. I called Scott to advise, he booked me in and even came out of the shop to the tee box to give me my score card for men’s night. Wow what a great guy and exceptional customer service, thanks Scott. An another note, Castlegar is the best golf course in the Koots.

• Staff was okay, it appeared she really didn’t want to be there. • Site was level. • Site was tight, very close to neighbors. • It was quiet and peaceful. • Showers are failry clean, and adequate pressure, water is tepid, you get 7 minutes for $1.00. • WIFI was slow, Rogers worked great. • No sewer hook ups, there is a sani dump, but they don’t tell you it’s there, they want you to go to the CO-OP to dump, plus it’s in a very poor location.

We stayed here in a 25' RV for 1 night only, would've stayed longer if we had the time. Nice spacious flat site with power and water and wifi. Friendly host Susan greeted us upon arrival, nice amenities and quiet.

Honestly one of the best RV parks I’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend, if you enjoy a nice environment, the golf course, there’s nothing better

Price per night is fantastic, tent sites are huge, the campground host is very hospitable and went out of her way to help us out. Food at the clubhouse is great and the golf course looks like it would be a lot of fun. The nearby trail network was also great. I took the kids for a short walk there and they enjoyed the connection with nature. We will definitely be back and I recommend you go there too.

Nicely maintained and beautiful! Had a lovely round and also enjoyed the driving range. Stopped in the pro shop and let one of my sons pick a hat and shirt since it was his birthday and the gentleman working there gave him a few "birthday extras" too.

Just outside of Castlegar is the small (about 20 sites) RV Park at the Castlegar Golf course. The Park is well laid out and maintained. There are many trees. All sites have good, level, gravel pads with water and either 30 or 50 amp power. Note that there is no sewer dump, either on the sites or at the Park. It is necessary to travel into Castlegar to dump your tanks. The Park does have excellent washrooms and a laundry facility so it is possible to extend the time until it is necessary to dump. Access to the Dove Hill hiking trail is just beside the Park and views from the hill are well worth…
