Cedar Knob is one of the best golf courses I’ve ever played! Each hole is unique in design, there are short par 4’s 330 yards to 240 yard par 3 holes. Beautiful dog legs and tree lined fairways, and huge green complexes that keeps you thinking all the time! Food is great in 19th hole as well!

Great course that allows public play. Course is in excellent shape. A little slow play, definitely budget 4.5hrs. Nice overlook on the 18th hole to drink a beer after the round - try to ! August 2021

Beautiful course and in great shape. However today we played 18 holes on a hot day starting at 8:15AM and every water container was empty. Notified the very nice gentleman in the pro shop at 11:45 when we finished who said I was the third person to bring this up today and that he notified the crew but apparently nothing has been done yet. Poor maintenance management for such a fine golf course. No excuse for this as there was maintenance people out there all morning.

This private course founded in 1963 welcomes non-members and is noted for its well-groomed greens and fairways in inspiring landscapes. Most of the fairways are fringed by towering cedars, creating a real sense of drama as you play. The signature holes at Cedar Knob are the 10th and 18th, both veering left-to-right through a corridor of tall evergreens and both requiring a well-pitched shot over water, either off the tee or in the approach. In 2019 rates varied from $23 (9 holes, walking, Mon-Fri) to $59 (18 holes, riding, Sat-Sun).

I really enjoyed this track. My first time playing here was a good experience. Everything was in very good shape for the spring time. The pace of play was good, but it may slow down in the summer, not sure. It’s not a long course and you rarely, if ever, need to use a driver, which is fine. The price is reasonable, which I really appreciated. The only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 is because it is lacking basic golfer amenities on the course. If they had water coolers and ball cleaners, I would raise this to a 5. In the heat of the summer, it’s a no brainer for your golfers. So is the b…

I have played the course multiple times now over the last few years expecting changes. The course itself isn’t a 1 star. However, what brings it down are the very long fairways (grass length, not distance), the bumpy, patchy greens, and above all , the rules they try to enforce. I tried to play in 2024 with my girlfriend who usually tags along. I was expecting to have to pay just a cart fee for her but they tried to charge a full 9. I just went recently and was going to walk with her knowing they would charge for a cart. They said spectators aren’t allowed and made me pay a cart fee for her to…

Course is challenging enough without being a target golf course. Pricing was good at $63 for 18 with a cart on the weekend. Golf at the course a couple of times a year and always well maintained. Would recommend.

Played Cedar Knob yesterday, like to play it a few times a year. The course was in excellent condition, greens were fast and in great shape but manageable for mid handicappers. Sand traps were large and perfectly groomed. The course is scenic, lots of beautiful trees, some nice vistas, price was reasonable. Definitely will continue to play Cedar Knob a few times every year.

Ceder Knob is an amazing course! We had the pleasure of playing with 2 individuals and the whole 9 holes turned out to be a great experience! Highly recommend

Great course. It's a little tight, so it's best not to grab random balls on your current hole as it's easily a ball from an adjacent hole. Well maintained and fun.

I drove by the course earlier this week and loved the look of it. So I called this morning to get a tee time and try the course. I talked to a person in the pro shop. I was told it was very busy today but I could get a noon tee time. I said okay, then said I would be a single. I was then told it was all 4 somes and it would be very slow. I said I was not worried and that I bought a new driver that I could work on. I was just trying to explain that slow play would not bother me. Also I would have walked as a single so no worries. After my working on my driver comment I was told I could not play…
