In summary

Grassmere Country Club is praised for its well-maintained and challenging nine-hole course, friendly staff, and reasonably priced amenities, including new golf carts and quality food. The venue is also noted for its suitability for events, with a charming gazebo and accommodating services. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the slow pace of play and management's handling of large groups on the course.

Really nice gilf course, nice place to spend your time. Food is a little more on the expensive side, but over all pretty good course. Don't forget to ring the bell when you get to the little bridge.

Great 9 hole course in excellent condition. Yamaha electric carts were like new, clean and ran smoothly. Pro shop was clean and adequately supplied. Greens fee was very reasonable $30w/cart for seniors. Nice outdoor seating area. The course has a few fairly challenging holes with undulations in several greens. Definitely a walkable course if so inclined. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Overall a good experience.

Kind staff, generally nice course, and has a very decent pace of play. Would have an impeccable pace of play if this were a course closer to a major city. Sooooo, thanks that it ain't too busy!

Horrible time. Super packed. Paired with angry people because it's packed. Not fun, Come for years with friends and fam.

Always well maintained and lush. $20 (walking) for such a lush course is a small price to pay. *I feel like I need to amend my review after my last three outings here. The course is still as I described it above, but management is lacking. They routinely let fivesomes and sixsomes out on the course, slowing down the pace of play to a crawl, taking two and a half hours to finish the nine holes. These groups do not let anyone play through and most of them are hacks. I have brought this up multiple times to the rangers and pro shop staff and I am met with ambivalence and confused looks. I even p…

Course is in best condition I've ever seen it in. A few bunkers have been converted to grass bunkers. And as with other courses this season greens are fast. Grassmere is a short course. But very challenging still.

For a high-quality round of golf you won’t have to travel further than this public course five minutes away in Enfield. Grassmere Country Club has a nine hole course that opened in 1973 and includes a practice green and chipping green. Things start off tricky as the first two holes have doglegs (both par 4s), and the fourth hole (also par 4) isn’t much easier for its long, blind uphill second shot. The fifth (par 3) is a favorite for its distant view to the green, but a winding brook comes into play here and on the par 3 ninth, which has a treacherous sloping green.

Very aggressive and tacky woman (owner) yelled at my family while we were on our second hole celebrating some important milestones. She didn’t like our pace and was very unkind and rude. Tried to have a productive and level headed conversation in person and over email but to no avail. Awful experience. Not worth the stress for a mediocre 9-hole course.

This place is always in great shape. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It's worth it to stop for food after your round as well.
