In summary

Topstone Golf Course is highly praised for its outstanding course conditions, challenging layout with numerous sand traps, and friendly, accommodating staff. The course's mature trees and elevation changes provide a visually appealing and engaging experience for golfers. While the club's facilities and clubhouse receive positive feedback, some visitors mention the need for minor updates and caution about the steep terrain when using golf carts.

First time playing here since 1998!! Trees are a little taller!!. Great conditions, fairways lush and cut short, greens lighting fast and true, bunkers were like playing a PGA golf course. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Great deal for seniors M-F $54 cart and green fee. This course is not flat, multiple elevation changes which will make you think hard about club selection. Definitely going back to play. Highly recommend to play!!

Awesome conditions, even in late November. The pro shop was very accommodating to our earlier-than-expected timing. Course layout is top notch: wide and straight drive-able fairways, but most of the greens are guarded by diabolical bunkers, so bring your best sand wedge. A very fun challenge, I'll definitely be back.

Held our 40th reunion there. Had a blast. Tracy was the best. She made every accommodation for our group. Wonderful!!!

We had a blast at Top Stone. We rented a golf cart - be aware of the very steep areas, giant puddles and big down hill drops. A side note/suggestion: This place would be great for cross country skiing in the winter. The course is nicely maintained and easy to follow. The difficulty level on a 1 to 5 scale is a 3.75. It's a full 18 holes. The club house has a dark brown vibe and can use some updating but it is clean. The bathroom was tidy even during the tournament. The staff was attentive. Parking was included and plentiful. Nice mature trees. In the back area of the course you can see some ho…

Awesome course. My only advice is if you’re not a fan of real sand traps this might not be your place. About t Four or five of the pins are surrounded by two to three what I call 7 to 8 outta ten difficulty. There’s not any traps that are like fifteen feet below the pin but you definitely can not put your way out of those and forget a bumb and run from the sand because they are to deep below the pin for that to work. Extremely well done job maintaining and taking care of the course. Highly recommend for central CT

Played here a couple weeks ago after a long time and it's in great condition! The sand traps are very consistent and well maintained (I mention that because there's quite a few making for a challenging layout). It was fun playing here again and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

I came here with a group of 24 guys and we had one of the greatest golf occasions we’ve had. Every single one in the group loved it. From the value of the course to the pristine condition of the greens, you really can’t beat Topstone.

Awesome place, greens phenomenal. No surprise this place is packed all the time. The service and conditions overall are something most courses strive for.

The Safari Club has developed a reputation of playing some fantastic venues over the last decade or so and Topstone rates right up there among the best. The golf course itself is outstanding. But no more outstanding then the folks that staff their facilities. Everyone from the pro shop to the kitchen and on outside to the guys preparing the carts work as a close team to make your day at Topstone a memorable one. With close proximity to the Bradley airport, Topstone will provide the business or pleasure traveler a real unique golfing experience without breaking the bank. If you like to travel a…

Impeccably maintained, excellent pro/pro shop staff. It only loses the fifth star because I am not a fan of sand traps directly in front of greens (probably won't impact better golfers). Restaurant is quite good, with very friendly staff.
