In summary

Minnechaug Golf Course is a well-regarded 9-hole course known for its challenging layout and scenic setting, featuring interesting holes like the island green on Hole 8. Many appreciate the affordable pricing, friendly staff, and the quality of the greens and fairways, although some areas are noted to be less well-maintained. While the course generally offers a pleasant experience, there are occasional complaints about slow pace of play and narrow fairways that can lead to lost balls. The on-site restaurant, The Tenth Hole, receives positive feedback for its food and service.

This is in between residential areas. It's decent value for the money. Ranges from 20$ to 30$ for 9 hole with a cart. The fairway are narrow on few holes with house on both sides and the roughs are really rough and not well maintained. The greens were decent. We lost quite a few balls into the houses or the woods. If you are good with your driver you can go through this course quickly. Loved the Hole 8 as it's an island hole and it was challenging and fun. Hole 9 is also over water and was challenging.

Solid golf course for a 9 hole, prices are affordable and the holes are fun. There's an island hole and another one the water, overall fun course.

This is a challenging, well-maintained, and beautiful 9-hole course. It's relaxing and fun to play. Golfers are respectful of each other. No one pushes you to play, which was great for me, as I had been in rehab, getting strength and endurance back and needing a little more time. The restaurant, called The Tenth Hole, serves delicious meals, not only the standard burgers and fries, but some surprises as well. The portions are generous. The service is attentive and friendly. The whole experience was great.

Great little course in Glastonbury. Only 9 holes but beautiful par 3 holes end the course. $23 to walk and rent a pull cart for 9 holes. I will be back.

Nice course! The tee boxes and greens are well maintained. Fairways are a bit narrow in some spots with houses on either side so if you are not a great shot do use caution. The 8th hole island green is a cool par 3. The only issue I had with my round was the backup of groups waiting to hit. The marshal came by but I never really saw any improvement in play speed until whatever bottleneck group was ahead of us finished and we had good speed through holes 7, 8, and 9. The trek from hole 7 to hole 8 is LONG through the neighborhood so if you are reading this and plan to walk the course, pony up…

As a business owner I was contacted by Kimberly who says she was representing the Minnechaug Golf Course to update their score cards. I had to repeatedly ask the price for the year (I’ve worked in advertising, I’ve played golf, I’m aware of what a score card is. I own 3 businesses this is not new news for me) she went through what I can only assume is her script but failed to answer me . So again I ask how much it is for the year. She finally tells me it’s $449 . Awesome I tell her I will call her back because I’m actually not interested in only featuring my one business, but two of the three.…

Great course. Always is great shape. The fairways are a little narrow but just makes for a challenge. I am not the greatest player (35 handicap) but dont feel rushed or out of place here. The ending two holes are the best; Hole 8 is an island green par 3 and Hole 9 is an over water par 3. If I can get even vaguely close the green on either one of those I feel like a million bucks.

Nice local course with some challenging and interesting holes. It is only 9 holes, so it is great for an inexpensive and quick round. Have also never had a problem getting a tee time in the ballpark of when we were trying to get out which goes a long way in this area where most courses block off huge chunks of time for club play. The turf is not as well maintained as some of the nicer courses around here which is why only 4 stars but at the price, convenience, layout, and tee time availability I don't think anybody could complain too much.

Great little 9 hole track. If you want to play 18 just book another tee time. Can tell they put money into it. Green tee boxes, green fairway, greens roll pure and true. Ill be back again. The tavern has amazing food!

Great for recreational golfers. It's a 9 hole course. Has drivable holes. Can't beat 20 bucks for 9 holes on a weekend ( walking) . They keep the greens and fairways clean and in good shape. There are a couple of "spots" here and there on certain fairways but not a big deal for me. Club house is on the small side but has food and drinks. Can sit outside or in. Not uselessly a long wait for golf.
