Tallwood Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and comprehensive practice facilities, including a driving range and areas for sand shots. The staff is noted for being friendly and accommodating, contributing to a positive overall experience. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about slow pace of play and occasional issues with course management, such as scheduling conflicts and lack of enforcement on the course.

This place is great. The folks in the club house very welcoming, including the staff in the grill room. Proper menu posted on 8 and 17. Hot dog on the turn. There was very light traffic for a Sunday AM tee time. I'm surprised we don't play here more often. Not a horrible walking track. Watch out for the water hazards.

A few years back (before last year) this course was playable. Now, unfortunately the pace of play makes it unmanageable. No ranger to speed people up, the entire course was backed up. This has happened to me both times I have played here this year so far and seemed to be happening last year as well. The last time I played it me and my one buddy played and it was a 5 hour round for just the two of us and we couldn’t even finish. We left half way through 17 because we couldnt take the waiting anymore. It is unfortunate as I like the course and it’s in good shape. I reccomend going to blackledge…

Great practice facility, one of the few courses I've seen that has a legit place to practice sand shots. Nice driving range and putting/chipping areas as well. I haven't played the course yet but looks like a really nice layout.

Course was well maintained. The leaves were actively being cleared. Ball wash stations filled, water stations filled. Impressive as we are in fall. Many courses I find this this time of year, maintenance drops off.

Greens in bad condition, no cart girl, very limited selection and grossly overpriced items in "pro" shop, gravel parking lot, gravel cart paths, bathrooms on the course are port-a-potties. The only saving graces were the pleasant women working the bar/grill and the lack of people playing on a Saturday (whom we still managed to get stuck behind). It's hilarious that they call themselves a country club.

Course was in terrific condition. Greens ran quick and true. This layout requires just about every shot in your bag to play well. Pro Shop and Starter were very welcoming. Pace of play was good considering groups went off every ten minutes. We have passed this course many times on our way to other area courses. Little did we know the gem that was right in front of us. We will be back to support this fine course.

Always enjoy playing this course. I was lucky enough to snag a spot in the Greenskeepers' Revenge Scramble this past weekend and had a blast. Each hole had been set up with some sort of obstacle or added challenge. My favorite was 18 where we had to draw cards to determine which club (provided) we'd hit from the tee. We played 2 wooden shafted 4 iron shots, a lefty iron shot, and a junior driver. Course was well maintained and staff is always super friendly! Great place to play 18 or join a fun tournament.

Nice track. Course is in great shape. Not much selection of top brands sleeves of balls inside but there’s something. Wish there were Chrome Softs triple tracks but oh well. Overall its a course I’d come back too

This is an excellent golf venue. Beautiful fairways well groomed. In addition to the driving range, they have a putting green and another green that you can chip on to either from the grass or bunkers. Real nice patio that you can grab a bite while watching the constant hummingbirds feed.
