In summary

Quarry Ridge Golf Club is praised for its beautiful scenery, particularly the rolling hills and natural rock formations, and is considered to be in good condition with challenging, tight fairways that require accuracy. The course offers excellent value and is complemented by a well-regarded restaurant with great food and views. However, some visitors have noted issues with customer service, particularly regarding rain checks and course management, and mention that the narrow layout can be challenging for less accurate players.

Not the fanciest clubhouse. Not a championship caliber course layout. But this golf course, rolling hills around old quarry, is an excellent value. Seniors may have difficult time maneuvering around the course, especially if you your ball lands short of the green on the hilly rough. Fairways are very tight and all holes are relatively short distanced. So leave your driver in the trunk might be a good idea if you are a heavy hitter. The course is kept in decent shape and the views, especially during fall, is awesome.

What a great course, scenery was amazing, the landscape is beautiful. It was in great shape even for winter. Course flow is a little quirky on some holes. Course is tight and if you are not accurate on your drives you will be in trouble.

I don’t golf but my husband does… Met him and a few friends here for dinner last night! Everyone had a great time and the food was amazing! Totally worth coming in just for the food!

Great food and bar. Outside seating with great views nice. Incredible not many people know to go here. Some of the best food around and reasonable pricing! The chicken sandwich and goat cheese balls! Smart to call ahead for their hours. Unfortunately they close earlier when not busy.

Course is in great shape. Greens are freshly recovered from aeration, fairways and collars are the best they’ve been in some time. Keep it in the fairway and you’ll have a great day!

Great course to host an event or enjoy a round of 18 holes in the rolling hills around an old quarry. The course is in good shape and has lots of holes that take advantage of the natural rock formations. There are a few blind spots, enough to make it interesting but stopping short of being frustrating. In the center of the front and back nine there is a gazebo with a grill and snack bar. I will be playing here in the future.

Fun, challenging, beautiful course. Only got to play the back nine due to personal time constraints, but really enjoyed it. We live 3 1/2 hours away and will definitely make the trip again just to golf here.

Terrible Customer Service. There was a light sprinkle when we paid for our tee time and there was no mention of "play at your own risk", no refunds for rain. The weather called for a passing shower that never happened. The rain got stronger as we got through 3 holes so we gave up as our clubs were slipping. No offer of a rain check to come finish the round, they wanted us to pay full price for a future round. Are you kidding me? Plenty of courses in CT and their neighbors, PortlandGolf had no issue with a rain check last year. We will not be back and our youtube channel will be mentioning this…

The owner must not play golf. When the course allows any group to tee off on the tenth, that just walked up with no tee time in front of a group that paid for 18 holes with tee time and is coming through well for starters lets just say the owner has lost a customer and as many friends as he can tell for ever and ever. No starter, Pro nowhere in sight and the ranger who really is the cart boy just drove around and did not say anything to the two groups they let go ahead of us and both groups had two players with cart. The first group was very very slow and backed up play for all nine holes. The…

Been playing here a couple of times a year for a while now. Hilly and tight on some holes, the course doesn't play long but have to be relatively accurate to score well. Course is in good shape and should get better as day I played,6/5, the greens had been fertilized and were sandy but once fertilizer works in greens should be nice and fast. Not a course to walk, clubhouse is nice and restaurant there was good. Nice course to play relatively cheaply for a change of pace and a challenge.
