In summary

Cedar Knoll Country Club is appreciated for its well-maintained, scenic 27-hole layout set in Vermont's rolling hills, offering beautiful views and a challenging golf experience. The staff is frequently noted as friendly and accommodating, and the clubhouse provides good food and a relaxed atmosphere. However, some visitors mention the course's hilly terrain can be difficult to walk, and there are occasional concerns about slow play and the need for more course amenities.

I live locally and have not played at Cedar Knoll before so my daughter, her friend and I decided to visit. Signed up for 9 holes and was directed to the south course?? not sure what that meant, but eager to play. Didn't take long to realize this must be where they send you if you are new and they really don't want you back.... We attempted to walk the course. The steep terrain on many of the holes was punishing (50 and 60 degree climbs). Add to that you had to walk on the cart path which was covered in lose gravel made it treacherous in golf shoes. It didn't take long to realize we were the o…

Great course at a great price. The course is in fantastic shape and has wonderful views from several tee boxes. It is rather hilly with some steep inclines, so be prepared if you decide to walk the course.

Love this track! We come here every year for our annual golf trip. Family owned and all the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have a great practice area that includes a chipping area and a nice putting great so make sure to get there early. Great views all over and they have three 9 holes courses. For our trip we play all 27 and each 9 have their own special characteristics. Course is in great shape and the greens are well kept and pretty quick. On the turn or after your round make sure to head to the clubhouse for a drink and a Michigan dog!

Suprisingly good condition for Hinesburg. Not a course I will likely return to but still fun and a good option for folks in the area. The greens crew does a pretty good job. The hilly t boxes are a nice change of pace when compared to other courses nearby. After traveling to hundreds of GCs across the country, this one doesn't stack up. The layout/way it snakes around houses isn't necessarily my favorite. The club house/pro shop/parking area need some major work. Not the worst course but there are far better options within an hour away. *cough* *cough* Neshobe. This course has a promising fu…

Great country course. Laid back atmosphere, but a well manicured course. Great food. Gorgeous views.

Great course, excellently mowed and maintained. This course is not for the weak at heart if you walk. It is mountain walking with beautiful views. Best part 27 holes, I was always able to play. The food is top notch and priced properly for the working folks. Thanks to the entire staff for great golf. Friday night fun league was a blast.

Played there twice this year, not again. Each round took over five hours - no ranger to keep the pace on track - no beer cart - greens are hard as a rock - folks at the clubhouse were nice, but today was definitely the last round I’ll play there.

One of the most beautiful and challenging courses you'll play. The South course is not my fave, but the North and West courses are awesome. Each hole is a different challenge from the last, great views on many tee boxes. Very hilly, so get a cart unless you brought your hiking shoes. Clubhouse deck is a sweet spot to relax in the summer.

Really fun course, lots of variety, beautiful setting, excellently maintained, not crowded, long enough to play long woods and irons. An exceptional value. Its hilly, so walking is tough. Get a cart, grab zome buds, and have a great outing! More traps would make it a 5 star. But great for the regular golfer and scratch golfers.
