In summary

Vermont National Country Club is highly praised for its impeccably maintained course, challenging layout, and stunning views. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and professionalism, while the clubhouse offers excellent dining and event hosting options. Some criticisms include the condition of the bunkers and limited entree selections, though these do not overshadow the overall positive experience.

Played a round on a Friday afternoon, tee times are well spaced to prevent backups on the course and make for an enjoyable round. The turf is immaculately maintained, fairways would be greens on smaller courses and the roughs match fairways at some I have played in the area. The course layout is challenging from the back tees and still playable from the fronts for newer golfers. Staff is very friendly and helpful. If you have an opportunity to play this course I cannot recommend it enough.

I've been lucky enough to call this place a part of my life for the past 15 years, and in that time, it’s become even more special as it’s now a place where my family and I make lasting memories. The course itself is not only incredibly fun but always impeccably maintained. The clubhouse is everything I could ask for, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond with their service. The events they host and the culture they’ve cultivated here are truly outstanding. I’m deeply grateful for everything this place offers. A huge thank you to the owners, who have continuously reinvested in the p…

I've never played the golf course here, but it looks lovely. I eat here often, though, and the food is very good, and reasonably priced. The bar makes perfect drinks. The staff is attentive and courteous, but not hovering. The setting is charming and usually pretty quiet. There's also a back room where you can have private parties.

The course is outstanding. The layout is challenging, turf care superior and the views are magnificent. Clubhouse boasts a great menu, quality pro shop, and a friendly, professional staff. Save time for a sunset drink on the balcony, it's worth the trip.

Last month I hosted a group of 24 friends and family for a golf outing and wedding rehearsal dinner. Brian Gara and his pro shop staff set up the golf and everyone was treated to a first class event. Carts were waiting with the guests name on them, and the outside service guys made everyone feel welcome. The course was in perfect condition. Emily helped us with all the details in planning the dinner. From menu selection to organizing the event, she orchestrated a sumptuous affair. The food was perfect! Kudos to the chef and his team. The sunset on the veranda was a fitting climax to a most exc…

The course was in very good condition. Bunkers were OK, not the level I expected. Greens I'm guessing Stimp maybe 10. Little slow for level and hype of this course. The food, let's leave it at eat somewhere else. Staff was top notch, golf carts in good shape and smooth ride.

Husband was a golf member here a few years ago. It’s just a frat house for older folks. Not very classy or clean. Came once for dinner and there were drunk men shouting everywhere. Never came back or renewed our membership.

A very nice club and an excellent lunch spot. Watch the tall grass, you will lose a few balls playing this course. Super friendly and professional staff, beautiful facilities all around.
