In summary

Cedar Point Golf Club is highly praised for its well-maintained course, stunning water views, and friendly staff. The layout is considered enjoyable and challenging, with particular appreciation for the greens and practice facilities. While access is limited to those with base clearance, the course offers an affordable golfing experience. A few visitors have noted issues with equipment rentals and occasional slow play, but overall, the club is regarded as a top choice in the area.

What a gem of a course. Lovely course, great views and the friendliest staff ever. Greens are challenging. Play the white tees and have fun. Walked 18 on Sunday for $38… Wow. Love drive from Stafford but worth it. Find someone that can get you in base and enjoy.

I love this golf course! Well maintained, and affordable with great water views. Must have access to Naval Air Station Patuxent River.

A General Manager and employee robbed me of $20 here for a damaged driver. The employee claims to have inspected the driver but clearly did not as I noticed the driver's damage while teeing, therefore I didn't use it. Once, I finished my 9 holes I returned the rentals as they were given and immediately the employee confronts me about the driver. I inform him that the driver was given to me that way, however he pushes the fact that he inspected it. We talk back and forth with the employee and the GM, but the GM must have been in on it and they end up robbing us of a $20 damage charge. Don't use…

Loved the last 3 holes of the front 9 as they are on the flightline. Amazing views all around. Don't go after a rain, though. Lots of standing water makes it quite hard to find the cart path as it stops after the tee box and starts again at or after the green. Altogether a very nice course. Greens are a little on the slower side and, in general, very receptive, but nicely maintained. Carts get the job done. Very nice practice green, a little faster than the on course greens though. 100% plan to play again and would recommend to anyone with base access.

A great course in a nice setting with some amazing views, which is in excellent condition. If you can get access to the base it's a very affordable way to play golf. The driving range, practice green and practice bunkers are all well maintained. Staff are welcoming and helpful.

It is a very nice golf course place pretty easy on the front 9 quite a bit more difficult on the back. I am not a scratch golfer but I enjoy playing there. Fairways and greens are in pretty good shape bunk good shape bonkers look nice play very fairly. Come on out and challenge yourself sometime thank you have a great time with this course. It is however on a military base so you will have to have access or come in as a guest

The staff is helpful and welcoming. Prices for a bucket of range balls is very reasonable. The practice greens (chipping and putting) are maintained nicely. It's been about 2 years since I've played a round on the course but it's a beautiful course and prices for a 9/18 round of golf isn't bad.

I am extremely impressed with how good of a golf course this is. Built on a very flat piece of land, the architect did a great job of using the trees, marsh, and basins of water throughout. The bunkering is wonderfully positioned as well. Just a great layout. Very walkable since it's so flat and the breeze off the Chesapeake Bay is wonderful on a hot summer day. The Bermuda grass was in great shape when I was there. They had just punched several tee boxes so hopefully they bounce back quickly. The greens could be a little more dramatic to really add a challenge, but I would also play here all…
