In summary

Mellomar Golf Park receives mixed reviews, with many visitors appreciating the friendly staff, reasonable prices, and the availability of a driving range and two nine-hole courses. Some players have noted improvements in course conditions, particularly the greens, although others have experienced issues with maintenance, such as uneven terrain and incomplete greens. While the course is generally considered suitable for casual play and beginners, there are criticisms about the overall upkeep and value for money, with some suggesting that the course is not ideal for more competitive golf.

Overall a good but not great golf course. Overall the fairways are good but there are some issues I wish the owner would fix. On the long 9 course most of the greens are basically unplayable. Missing grass causing uneven terrain, just super spotty with grass coverage and spot that are missing the grass is just yellow or dirt. Some of the tee off points are also super hard packed and not good grass coverage. Towards the end of the course i just stopped trying to putt into the holes because it was useless to even try. Overall I still like the course and the vibes and the price, but they really n…

Played today and the greens were in the best condition I’ve ever seen. Props to management for keeping up with it lately. Makes me happy to see the course thriving.

Played today, greens are in the best shape ever, no management of course, play, pay and stand in line as 4 people wanted to play alone Cost: 9 holes 35$, 36$ for 18 at Chesapeake Hills, 44$ for wicomico 18 holes, price should drop by a min of 10$ just saying.

Half of the “greens” are really just grass. As long as my backyard. The fact they would charge people to play this course in its current state is criminal. They didn’t say a word about it when charging us. Disc golf, sure. Real golf? Stay away.

Wife and I decided to drive down and give this place a try. Glad we did! Place has a driving range and 2 nine hole tracks (one a par 3 course and the other a regulation length course). Course is not up to the standards of some of the finer courses, but ... The guy working in the "shop" was super friendly. Cart was clean and working well. Course was in great shape ... all of it ... tee boxes, fairways, greens. We really enjoyed our round! Just wish we lived closer, but we definitely will return to play there again.

The course has really turned things around. I've always found all the staff to be very friendly here, but in the past the course was just not in good shape. Well they hired a new greenskeeper and the difference in half a year is really incredible. The greens are all in great shape now. The fairways have gone from pretty bad to better than most courses I've played. Even the areas between the holes are better kept. The tee boxes are 1000% improved. Lots of little touches like the signs are a welcome improvement as well. Just in excellent condition now. I'm really blown away at the improvement. T…

Played there on April 1st 2019, was my first time. I’ll just say this first, I understand it’s a smaller course/small business etc I get that, BUT if 4 greens out 9 holes aren’t finished I mean they didn’t even have a hole/flag then just close the course until it’s complete. Paid $35 for 5 playable holes with golf cart. Employee that helped us was friendly he said play as much as you like and to get your money’s worth due to a few of the greens being incomplete so that was nice of him. I’ll give it another chance maybe but just a couple days ago, I was just in disbelief at the condition of the…

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE MINI GOLF. It's very run down, not maintained, and you have to sweep the tree branches and sand and nut shells out before you play each hole. Very LAME. And yet they charge $7 per person. That terrible mini golf course should ONLY be FREE.

Great local spot to get in some quick rounds or hit the range. So nice to have something like this nearby! It’s not PGA quality, but it’s well taken care of and casual.

Awful experience. For one the owner does not wear a mask inside the building during a pandemic that’s pretty sad. They tried to upcharge me from 40 to 56 even though for two rounds on a Sunday it clearly read 40. I asked how it was possible for her to charge me 16 more dollars, she responds with because I just decided the prices have gone up. The course is awful condition for the price being charged, should be maybe a 10 dollar course at best. HORRIBLE GREENS. It was my first time at the course in almost a full year and I was treated like absolute scum. This place needs to be shut down for h…

I think the green could use a little work. The ground was also a little uneven but, not worth a 1, or, 2 star review. If you are a beginner or just looking for something fun to do I highly recommend this course. The mini golf course is also very good same with the driving range. I highly recommend this golf course, driving range, and mini golf course.

We went for mini golf with our grandson. This is a mini course just finished last month, and while a lot of the obstacles are just very simply constructed, and some are still under development, they more than serve. So, don't let that be any kind of distraction from the fun. And it was lots and lots of fun. The holes are not too hard for the little ones like many mini courses I have been to, where even the adults have problems. He made two holes in one shot which made him very happy. I highly recommend this as a great parent/child activity.
